alysha's pov

i look at myself in the full length mirror that's attached onto the wardrobe's door. i actually like this school uniform. probably because it's not black. it's red.

i make sure that my red polo shirt, with the school's logo on it is tucked into my red checkered skirt. i pull up my long, knee high black socks as high as they'll go before slipping on, and buckling my school shoes. "there we go. now i look decent." i smile to myself.

i make sure my hair looks alright. it's down, very curly, and puffy. it's basically a big, curly, puffy mess. to sort it out, i grab my hairbrush and begin brushing my hair vigorously in an attempt to make it less puffy and messy.

i hate my hair. it's too thick. too curly. and always messy looking no matter what i do with it. the only time it looks decent is if i tie it up into a ponytail, or if i straighten it, but it takes forever to straighten it.

"fuck this man." i sigh as i grab some hair bobbles (hair tie's). i then throw my hair up into a messy ponytail. "that's better... kinda." i say as i look in the mirror.

once i'm happy with how i look, i grab my hoodie from earlier and throw it back on as i'm cold. i then grab my new school bag; a nice black, "throw onto shoulder" bag with some roses sown onto it. i then throw my shitty, clear pencil case - with pens, pencil's, ruler, rubber, sharpener, etc - into it, along with my lunch my mum made me just for today.

"right, what time is it, and what do i have next?" i ask myself as i grab my phone out to check the time. i then grab my timetable out and check to see what i have next. "lunch is next. and is in twenty minutes. great." i sigh as i put my timetable into my hoodie's pocket along with my phone.

i check myself in the mirror one more time before grabbing my room key and making my way out to find the lunch hall.

[a/n] -sorry for not updating for a few days. i've been pretty busy. but now, updates are back to normal (until i go back to college that is). also, thanks for over 2K reads! :')

p.s. the song up top (media) has nothing to do with this chapter. i just really like it. :)
