  ~Previously~

I jumped in the air, pulling my guns from their hostlers and emptied both containers into the reptile. When my feet hit the floor so did the lizard's body as I finished eating my lolli.

Apparently while I was in my candy land they found camel and named him Eyelash. Vivi, Nami, and Emmy road on him to Yuba, they asked me if I wanted a ride but I kindly refused and continued beside Ace. 'We may not talk but spending time with him this way is enjoyable,' I thought to myself looking at the fire man.

  "Hey, Ace."

"Luffy, do you see Nami anywhere?"

  "Ace, look up."

  ...

  "What the..?"

  "We lost them."

Ace and, unfortunately, myself somehow managed to get separated from the guys after we got separated from the girls.

"How did that happen?" Ace asked.

  "I don' know,"  I said.

Ace sighed and kept walking with me beside him. A tune was playing in my head one that I had heard from some unknown place.

"Off we go~ into the wild, blue, yon-der!" I sung aloud, "Climbing high~ into the sun~!"

"What are you singing?" Ace asked with confusion clear as day.

"It's the Air Force Song," I answered.

  "The what?" Ace asked.

"The Air Force Song," I repeated.

"What the hell is an Air Force?" Ace asked.

  "Nothing," I said.

Afterward a while of walking and humming the Air Force Song I started humming a new tune until Ace stopped and looked around. My humming ceased as I looked back at Ace, a question mark appearing above my head.

"Strange I thought I heard something," Ace said.

Just as those words left his mouth the sand began raising in front of us. Once all the rock particles fell a giant scorpion was left in its place. The scorpion was a grey tint with red eyes looking down at us while snapping its large claws.

My eyes widened and I took in a deep breath before turning to Ace while pointing at the giant scorpion.

"Ace, look at how big it is! Do you think someone gave it steroids?!" I asked.

Ace looked confused at my excitement before he roasted the scorpion alive. My excitement burned with the scorpion as I begun to pout.

"But I wanted to pet it," I whined.

  "You still can," Ace said.

"It's not the same," I whined.

We started walking again me sulking while Ace just looked at me. I came to a stop with Access doing the same, my eyes looked at the creature presented to us with the same excitement as the scorpion.

A giant gecko stood between us and moving ahead. The giant orange and purple gecko mirrored Ace's sidestep as he tried to get around it. A giggle escape me and the gecko tried copying that as well.

  "It's imitating us," Ace said.

Ace sidestepped and once again the gecko followed him. I did nothing but watch the irritation rise onto Ace's face.

"Do you want to get in my way too pal?" Ace asked the giant gecko.

The gecko eyes looked behind us. Once his eyes landed on the red hot scorpion waterfalls fell from his orbs.

"Awe, you made him cry," I said.

"...ya know...." Ace trialed off looking at the gecko.

Ace walked closer to the human sized gecko making the poor thing shake like a leaf and cry a river. Once Ace was close enough he placed his bags on the gecko.

"You'll make travelling a hell of a lot easier," Ace said smirking.

I moved toward the terrified gecko and gently stroked his nose. The gecko slowly began to calm at my touch, his eyes looking into my own.

"It's okay, I won't let him hurt you," I spoke softly.

He seemed to understand me and moved closer to me. My eyes sparkled like jewels at how cute this little, not really, creature was.

"He's not a dog, ya know," Ace interrupted.

  "I know," I replied smiling.

I stepped away from the lovable reptile and moved toward Ace, knocking his hat off and rustling his raven hair. Thanks to the height difference I had to stretch a little to reach the top of his head, but that didn't stop me from messing with him. Ace's face scrunched up in displeasure as he moved my hands away and placed his hat back on.

"Stop that will you! I'm not a dog either," Ace complained.

  "I know," I replied.

Ace grumbled a little before mounting the gecko and helping me get on behind him. We then set off to continue our journey of searching and self discovery. Who am I kidding I don't need no self discovery we just kept searching for Luffy and the rest.

I, however, did little searching as the ride was lulling me to sleep. I could feel Ace laugh a little at me as my head swayed to stay up right.

"Just go to sleep," Ace said.

"Mmm no, then that would leave you up alone," I mumbled.

  "I'll be fine," Ace assured.

Stubbornly I stayed drifting in and out of sleep while Ace did nothing but laugh at my struggle. Soon after I was jolted awake by his head hitting my own when he fell asleep.

  "Narcolepsy," I said.

His body slumped against my own as his head was tilted back to rest on my shoulder. I moved his hat to cover his face from the sun but not enough to suffocate the poor guy.I soon realized that I was the only thing keeping us from falling off the moving gecko.

"His neck is going to hurt wen he wakes up," I said to myself.

  ~Time Skip~

Ace decided to wake up just before sun set. He placed a hand on his neck before moving to crack it with a look of discomfort. Once he received a few satisfying pops he looked around and sighed in disappointment.

"Luffy! Where are you!" Ace yelled.

"There seems to be a town that way," I said pointing.

Ace turned around to question me but stopped to gawk at my appearance.

"Just keep heading forward and we'll reach it."
