Snow's POV

"Come with me." Biglang tawag sa akin ni Yuan.

Nagtataka man ako pero hindi na lang din ako nagsalita. Sumunod na lang ako rito at mukhang patungo ito sa kuwarto niya. I don't want to think dirty dahil niyaya niya ako sa kawarto niya hahaha. It is not his style naman din, kung manyakis ito baka natakot na ako ngayon at kumaripas na ako ng takbo.

Nakapasok na ako sa kuwarto ni Yuan and it is still so extravagant. I sniff the fresh citrusy scent in the air. In fairness ang bango ng kuwarto ah.

He settled on his study table with a large solo seat. May binuksan ito at kinuha na mga papel na inilapag din naman sa mesa.

"Uhm, what's the matter?" Tanong ko rito dahil syempre wala akong kaideya-ideya kung bakit ako tinawag nito.

"I need to discuss with you on something." Sagot naman nito. "Come here."

Lumapit naman ako at napalunok, his presence alone is very overwhelming lalo na ngayon at kami lang dalawa sa kuwarto nito. Napatingin ako saglit sa sobrang laking higaan nito, pero agad din akong nagbawi ng tingin.

"What is it?" I asked while standing next to him. All I can see are papers  with drafts and some writings that are unfamiliar to me, para siyang mga code.

"It's about a secret mission." Saad nito sa akin.

"Secret mission? There is such thing?" Tanong ko. Hindi ako sure kung pinatitripan lang ba ako nito. Wala naman kasing nabanggit si Headmaster tungkol sa isang secret mission.

"Yeah, and this mission is only for the two of us." Sagot naman nito.

"Us? Why? Paano yung iba? May iba na silang mission din?" Tanong ko ulit.

Umiling ito. "No. This mission is very complicated and it was trusted to me. I chose you to help me with this. But you have to keep it and no one must know about this." Saad nito sa akin.

Napalunok naman ako. Parang ang bigat naman ng responsibilidad na ito. Ano bang klaseng mission ito? And he said, he chose me right? Then why me? Why not Avis or Jin na mas mukhang napapagkatiwalaan pa yun kesa sa akin.

"I won't tell anyone but it doesn't mean that I agree on doing this secret mission." Sagot ko dito.

He stare into the depths in my eyes like seeing my soul. "We have to do this. I can't trust anyone aside from you."

Hindi ko alam kung mamumula ako o kikiligin ako hahaha. Bakit ako meyged.

"Okay, then what is this mission." Tanong ko uli rito.

"2 days ago, there was an attempt to infiltrate the academy. We still don't know the real reason, but Headmaster was suspecting, it is because of the Core." Paliwanag nito sa akin.

Nagulat naman ako. Hindi namin nabalitaan na may nagtangkang pasukin ang Academy. And to think na unknown ang reason kaya syempre hanggang duda lang ang mga tao kung ano ang pakay.

"Are they human or demon?" Tanong ko. Kung demon ay talagang obvious na.

"It was humans but they were hypnotized." Sagot nito sa akin. "But the fact, human can't touch the core, so there is a possibility it could be something else."

"Wait, humans can't touch the core? Isn't it in the first face it was hidden? Do you mean that?" Tanong ko rito. Hindi ko maintindihan masyado kung ano ang ibig talaga niyang sabihin.

"It doesn't mean it was hidden, it can never be found. What I mean is no human can touch the Core. The moment you touch the Core, you will turn into ashes." Seryosong sagot nito at nanlaki naman ang aking mga mata sa nalaman. "Core is the purest energy created by Gods, touching it will drain your life out."
