Dante Brown {Miles Morales}
16 years old and one of the best and brightest of Horizon High, a school for geniuses in New York City, Miles is the protagonist of the story after he manages to create a serum based on Oz-Gamma Radiation and obtains superhuman abilities and he becomes the new Spider-Man. He has a wider range of abilities than the Spider-Man you're used to and his story is certainly one I'll enjoy telling and one that will ensnare you in the book. He lives with his mother, Rio Morales and his suit is developed from a new pyro-resistant vibranium fiber material in Horizon High. And the suit's tech is impressive but there is no AI like Jarvis or Karen in this story.

Rio Morales Miles's Latino mother who's struggling to deal with life after the death of Miles's father and has been going in and out of jobs. She works as a Baker at the beginning of the novel and as of now, I have no idea what other career prospects await her in the upcoming trilogy.

Donald Glover {Aaron Davis}/Prowler
Miles's criminal uncle and one of the top players in New York's criminal underworld. With new Hammer Tech equipment, he wreaks havoc on the city as Prowler, robbing banks and facilities of cash and other scientific equipment which he's using to build weapons and supply the criminal underworld. He knows who Miles is beneath the masks and vows to make his nephew's life unbearable hell if he doesn't get out of the way. And he does a lot of things to prove his point.
