⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I sat there for a few minutes thinking about what I had just said. I wouldn't blame both Johnny or Hayden to go run after her. I mean I was pretty harsh, but I'm so sick of her playing the victim all the time.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀When Hayden liked me she played the victim. When Hayden kissed me, she played the victim. When she was about to tell Johnny about what really happened that night and I was only defending myself and trying to stop her, she played the victim. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀After comprehending what had just went down, I decided to go talk to Johnny about what really happened that night. I think part of the reason why he's mad at me is because of the secrets I've been keeping from him. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I got up and started running the trail to where Johnny left. I followed my way to our cabin as I saw him outside the door standing against the wall. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Once he noticed me he stood straight up and I could tell his eyes were really tense. "Johnny we need to talk." I stated as I  came closer to him. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"No Kenzie. I'm so sick of you keeping secrets from me and not opening up to me. Not telling what's actually wrong and bottling it up inside of you, then randomly exploding it out on other people. That's not okay. Ever since I arrived here you've been keeping things from me, and whatever we have going on over here will stop if that continues." He explained while pouring out his honest opinion. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"I know that's what I want to talk to you about. I need to tell you what really happened that night, and not Annie's version of the story. Mine." I replied grabbing his hand softly. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀His eyes trailed down to our intertwined fingers and he looked back into my brown eyes. "Fine, but once we're done, I think you owe an apology to someone." He said pointing out Annie locked in the bathroom. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"I agree, but first you have to hear what I have to say." I replied. "Okay princess let's go somewhere else." He said leading me towards the other direction. I smiled at the name he gave me once more. I was his princess. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀He led me to the beautiful garden where we were originally supposed to meet up that night, but as you can tell that didn't work out so good. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀We sat on the long brown wooden bench as he motioned his body facing me. "Okay, now tell me what really happened." He stated. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Okay well it's a really long story, so I'll start from the beginning. So last year at summer camp, Hayden asked me out right over there by the lake." I said pointing my finger towards the brown bridge. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀His eyes suddenly bulged out as he was taken by surprise after what I managed to get out. "Now Hayden didn't know, but Annie had the biggest crush him since like three years ago. Now as you can tell things didn't really work out between me and him, because of Annie. Plus the fact that I only wanted to stay friends." I continued on to say. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Ohh, so that's why Hayden seemed to tense the day we met first." Johnny said fixing the missing pieces together. "Yea, that's part of the reason." I replied.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Okay so remember that day at camp where I told you to meet up with me? Well when you never showed up because.. well, that rat tied you to a tree. In you're absence Hayden showed up. Now keep in mind what I'm about to tell you is before when Hayden still liked me." I said trying to give him some support so Johnny wouldn't beat his ass. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Oh great, I already know what's coming." He said flapping his hand in the air. "Shh let me finish." I replied. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Okay well I don't really know how to say this without putting it in a bad way, because well um–" I said getting cut off by Johnny's assumption. "Let me guess, he kissed you." My jaw literally hung open at the amazement that he knew what happened next. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"How did you know?" I asked. "Kenzie, this is a really predictable story. It's very cliché." He replied laughing a little. I was glad he was taking everything lightly and with humor.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Well before you say anything else, I didn't kiss him back." I suddenly blurted. "I know, you can tell where your loyalties stand." He replied. "So you're not mad?" I question squinting my eyes. "Oh Mackenzie Ziegler, I'm furious. In fact I'm gonna go beat the crap out of Hayden right now." He said almost interrupting  me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"No Johnny pleas don't, you don't unseratan-" I said trying not to get Hayden hurt. "Kenzie, chill. I'm just joking." He said interrupting me for real this time. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀He suddenly bursted into laughter and I starred at him with anger in my eyes. "You bastard, you scared the crap out of me." I said playfully smacking his arm. "I know that's why I did it." He replied still uncontrollably laughing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I cracked open a smile at the sight of him not in anger, or disappointment. "So , is that why you and Annie were fighting?" He questioned a little calmer. "Yup." I simply replied. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Well then I'm glad that's over." He said. "Yeah, me too." I replied. Then out of no where he suddenly popped his head up and said, "Come on I wanna show you something." I looked at him in confusion. "What?" I replied. "Just follow me." He replied softly grabbing my hand. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I smiled at him and got up, as he lead me to the unknown.
