Forgivness

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I was sleeping in Johnny's masculine arms when I heard squeaky sound against the cabin floor. My eyes fluttered a little to see where the sound was coming from, when I saw a suitcase rolling. That wasn't the strange part though, it was the person was rolling the suitcase.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀It was none other than Annie. I tried talking to her so many times that day, but she shut me out. She didn't listen to a word I said, she was locked in her own world, because of the hurtful comment that spat out of my mouth. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I saw her walk right out the door with her bags, and only one thing popped into my head. She was gonna leave, and it was all my fault. I couldn't even enjoy a pinch of my summer knowing that I hurt Annie and never got to fix it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀My first instinct was to go after her, so that's what I did. I gently lifted Johnny's arm off my chest and quietly started to get off the ladder. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I slipped on some flip flops and started running towards her fast figure. My feet were a little unsteady considering I had just woken up, so I was a tad bit slow. I gathered all the energy I possibly had and poured it into my speed, as I was yelling her name. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I finally followed her to the bus stop and saw her sitting on the bench starring at her phone. My throat felt so dried with all the wind running through my mouth from pacing so fast. I didn't even know what i was supposed to say, all I knew was I wasn't gonna let her leave. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Annie!" I yelled speeding towards her. Her eyes locked on mine as her head flashed the other way. I finally got her attention. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"ANNIE WAIT!" I yelled again getting closer and closer by the distance. Her jaw hung opened, from the sight of me racing towards her. "ANNIE PLEASE DON'T  LEAVE!" I screamed again. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I saw the shadow of a yellow bus driving towards us as I was getting so close to her. My heart raced faster and faster by the distance. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I finally reached to her and pulled her into a massive hug. "Annie please don't leave! I'm sorry! I'm so, so sorry." I said with my eyes getting blurry with the watery tears falling on her shoulder. She squeezed me into her arms as I stood there like an idiot crying for forgiveness. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"I'm sorry Annie, I didn't mean any of the words I said. I take it all back, just please don't leave." I said letting go pleading to her. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Her eyes filled with light as each word of forgiveness slipped out of my mouth. "I'm sorry to Kenz." She said wiping a droplet of water falling from her cheek. "No you're not supposed to be sorry, it was my fault for being so rude to you." I stated. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Its not entirely you're fault. If I hadn't been so jealous of you and Hayden, this wouldn't have all happened." She replied. I felt the corners of my lips crawl into a smile.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"So do you forgive me?" I questioned. "Of course I do Kenzie." She said dropping her bag and embracing me into another hug. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Does this mean you're gonna stay?" I asked looking at the bus driving towards us. "Are you gonna pour lake water on my head if I don't go on the morning hike?" She questioned jokingly. "Depends." I replied with a smirk. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Wow okay guess I'm leaving, bye Kenz nice knowing you." She said turning her head around. "No! No I take it back I won't pour water in your head!" I yelled. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀She suddenly bursted into laughter. "I'm joking, you idiot." She said not being able to control her giggles. "I hate you." I said between my gritted teeth. "I love you too." She said with a wide smile plastered on her face.
