"dan, if you drop me, i'm going to kill you." billie was currently clinging onto my back, mumbling half-asleep thoughts into the middle of my shoulder blades. i laughed at her empty threat and let go of her for a second before quickly grabbing on to her again. she gasped, smacking my arm. "stop it!"

i opened the back door to my car and laid her down in my backseat before closing the door and taking my place in the driver's seat. "you were the one who decided it would be perfectly fine to trust me in carrying you half of a mile to the car. it's not my fault my grip on you was starting to loosen. i'm not very strong or trustworthy, bils."

billie snorted, shuffling around to get more comfortable. "it wasn't my idea to park that far away."

"it's also not my fault that this was the closest parking spot to the building. and it's also not my fault that it took forever to get into the place and find a spot. besides, it was your idea to come here."

she sat up and leaned in between the front seats to smile at me. "it was totally worth it though! waterparks is a great band and you know you love them."

i smiled. "i still can't believe that the awsten knight touched my hand," i responded.

she rolled her eyes and fell back into the backseat. she yawned. "he also touched my hand. he touched a lot of people's hands, danny boy, you're not special." she crinkled her nose up. "in fact, now that i kind of think about it, he better have washed his hands before and after he did that. somebody could have some sort of disease."

"i highly doubt that someone with a deadly or incurable disease would have been at the concert." i ran a hand through my hair and looked at my surroundings. there were still people leaving the concert, but the amount was dwindling. i continued waiting. i would rather wait than face traffic.

billie, however, didn't seem to want to wait any longer. she groaned. "let's go. i'm tired and i want to sleep."

i frowned and turned to face her. her head was leaning against the window. "can't you just sleep in here?"

she shook her head. "i can't sleep in cars. they aren't comfortable enough." she moved forward, crawling over the center console and into the passenger seat, leaning the seat backwards. "england is super weird. i've been here for foreign exchange for two years now and i'm still not use to the whole left-lane-switched-up-car-seats thing." she closed her eyes and pressed her hands against her forehead.

"you seem to be comfortable enough right now," i stated as she placed her feet on the dash and rolled over onto her side.

the blonde opened her eyes to glare at me. "i can't believe i'm still friends with you." she smiled after saying this before closing her eyes. "but i love you, danny boy."

"uh-huh, love you too, billie."

she reached over and smacked my arm, for the second time tonight. "if you love me, you would leave, like right now. unless you want me to skip out on the movie night tomorrow because i'm sleeping all day." she crossed her arms and stuck out her lower lip.

"i'm not leaving until the traffic has died down some." she groaned. "please don't skip movie night, billie, i'm going to be so bored."

"the traffic isn't that bad, baby bitch."

my jaw dropped open as i started my car. "i am not a baby bitch."
