Two Less Lonely Strangers

Tuesday Morning

Dominic's POV
"Hi Mom"I rushed to the Hospital and saw my Mom sleeping at the sofa.

"Dominic,  thank God you're here. " she woke up and hugged me tight.

"How was he? " I asked her while staring at my Dad sleeping.

"He's okay for now. " Mom said in a very low tone.

"How are you? " she looked back at me.

"Hmm okay. " I smiled at her a little bit then she nods.

"Ah Mom,  you should get some rest.  I can stay awake to look after you guys. " I asked her to go back to sleep,  she just smiled.

Fast forward...

"Okay,  thank you Doc. " Mom while talking to my Dad's Cardiologist.

"Mom I have to go now. " my ate Devon kissed Mom and said goodbye.

"Bye,  Dom I'll see you later guys. " ate said and left the room.

"You're Dad can go home tonight. " Mom said while packing up Dad's things.

"Great. "I said and smiled.

Ring ring...

"Yes Hello? .. Excuse me Mom" I walked out the room as I answered the phone

"Oh Dom kamusta ang Dad mo? " it's John na nag-aalala.

"He's okay, Doc said he can come home tonight.

"Mabuti naman. " he said.

"By the way ahm Dom I tried to call her pero wala hindi sinasagot" I remembered I asked him to call his ex from Surigao so I can take the Locket back to her friend.

"Oh,  hmm sige okay lang well maybe next time na lang pagbalik natin sa Surigao. " I said.

"Okay sige brow. " and he hang up the phone.

I grabbed the locket from my pocket and wondering if she's looking for this. Cause if she does maybe she'll asked her friend who happened to be my friend's ex to go and ask him if we found her locket that night.  Or maybe she really doesn't have a clue at all.

Stella's POV
Knock knock...

"Stella please buksan mo yung pinto" nagising ako nang marinig ko si tita Alex na kumakatok sa pintuan.

"Stella sige na lumabas ka na diyan,  umalis na si Mama mo. " saad niya pa,  nahirapan akong imulat ang mga Mata ko dahil sa namamaga ito kakaiyak ko kagabi.

"Oh goodmorning. " bati ni tita na parang walang nangyari kagabi.

"Sorry Stella,  nahuli kasi ako ni Ate nung gabing tumawag ako sa iyo,  narinig niya na NASA Surigao ka,  di na ko nakapagpalusot pa,  alam mo naman yung Mama mo abogado kaya ang hirap makalusot. " mahabang paliwanag ni tita pagkapasok na pagpasok sa kwarto ko.

"Ahm,  hayaan mo na yun tita tapos na naman eh. " sabi ko na bumalik ulit sa pagkakahiga sa Kama.

"Ano nangyari ?nagkausap ba kayo ng Papa mo? " tanong niya nang maupo sa tabi ko sa Kama.

"Di pa ako nagpakilala na anak niya ako. " napaupo ako para magkwento Kay tita.

"Eh bakit di mo sinabi na ikaw si Stella ang anak ni Angela Aquino Legazpi? " saad niya na inilahad pa ang kamay sa hangin.

"Natakot ako tska nahiya na din.  Hmm may nakilala akong babae na halos kasing edad ko lang I mean 1 or 2 years siguro ang tanda ko. " pagtuloy ko sa kwento.
