Just the Girl (one)

Dominic's POV
"Hey son,  ready? " tanong ni Dad when we all get in the van.

"Yeah I am. " we're about to go to Davao to visit my Godfather.

Medyo mahaba habang biyahe ito.  I need my iPod and earphone and started to play music.

Listening to If I could be like that🎧

I glanced at the rear mirror and saw my Dad and Mom seated behind me.  Mom's head is resting in my Dad's shoulder. They looked so calm and I find it sweet.  Wishing na ganito na lang Sana palagi. 

"Yay!!!  We're  here na guys. " bigla naman napasigaw si ate Devon nang makita na NASA airport na kami.

While at the airplane...
"Tagal ko nang di nakasakay ulit sa eroplano Hon. " I heard my Dad talking to Mom who are  both seated in front of me and ate.

"Yeah,  me too.  The last time we had a trip was what like 4 or 5 years ago? " saad naman ni Mom.

"Yeah yeah,  I remember that.  Yun yung nagpunta tayo sa Hong Kong birthday ni Dominic. " while their talking and suddenly stared at me.

"What? " nagtataka ako nang parehas silang lumingon sa likod and they both laugh.

After 2 hours.
"Finally!!!  Davao we're  here na! " excited na saad ni ate when we finally took off the plane.

"Do you like to eat first? " Dad asked us when he saw a restaurant across the airport.

"Okay then..  Let's go inside. " he added after we all agreed and went straight inside the resto.

While eating,  Mom and Dad reminisced how they've  met.  And i was surprise na dito pala sila sa Davao unang nagkita.  Now I know why they love this place. 

"What a love story guys.!" My ate who looked so amazed with our parents story.

"Dom?  You want some of this anak? " sabi ni Mom pero di ko siya masyadong narinig I don't know it seems like the world stop in turning as well as the time and I just found myself looking at the girl seating alone beside the window. Her eyes are beautiful but it looks so sad.

"Son are you okay? " now I heard my Dad's voice.

"Ahm huh? " I'm wondering what they're saying as I got back to my senses.

"I'm sorry I think I have to pee. " I excused myself and they all laughed at me. 

I walked into her direction and she suddenly turned her head into mine.  As we stared at each other I smiled and she did too well a bit.

"Stella have you already picked your order? "I heard a woman spoke at my back. 

"Opo MA.. " she said when the woman passed at me.

I thought she smiled at me earlier Hindi pala.  Medyo napahiya ako dun.  So I went back to my seat along with my family.

"Oh ang bilis mo naman ata. " pagtataka ni ate na inakala na galing ako sa bathroom.

"Okay I think your Ninong is already here,  he just texted me. " sabi ni Dad while looking at his phone.

"Are you all done? " tanong ni Mom.

"Yeah we're  good.. I think" sabi naman ni ate and stared at me.

"Ah yeah okay na ako. " sabi ko din and they all stood up and I followed.

"Okay Let's go. " yaya ni Dad and we went outside the resto.

As I walked out of the area I sneaked out a glance at the girl again.  And thinking she looked familiar. And I started to think about her until we got to my Ninong's house.

Stella's POV
Flashback 3 Hours ago...

"Stella! " gulat na saad ni tita Alex nang makauwi ako sa bahay.

"Tita. " niyakap ko siya at napaluha.

"Anak. " nagulat ako nang marinig ang tinig ni Mama na nagsalita sa bandang likod ko.

"Ahm labas muna ako may bibilhin lang. " sabi ni Tita Alex nang kumalas sa yakap ko at nagpalusot na lalabas.

"MA. " mahinang saad ko after magpahid ng luha ko.

"Magpahinga ka na muna may pupuntahan tayo mamaya. " malumanay na saad ni Mama pagkatapos ay tumalikod.

"Ahm opo. " matipid na sagot ko na nagtataka bakit tila Hindi ako pinagalitan and when I looked straight to her eyes kahit na kinakabahan ako parang may something na gusto niyang sabihin.

"You have to be dress up tonight before 6." Bago pa ako makapagsalita ay nakaalis na siya. Wala akong  idea kung saan kami pupunta mamaya. Haay.. Bahala na si Batman.

After 2 Hours...

Knock.. Knock..
"Stella.. " bulong ni tita Alex na kumakatok sa pinto ng room ko.

"Tita? " tanong ko nang pagbuksan ko siya ng pinto.

"Saan ang lakad niyo? " tanong niya nang makita niya akong bihis na bihis.

"Di ko alam.  Tatanungin nga Sana kita kanina eh. " nagtaka ako,  ang akala ko pa naman ay kasama si Tita sa lakad namin ni Mama.

"Pramis di ko talaga alam.  Nagulat na lang ako nang makita ko si Ate na bihis na bihis din. " mahabang paliwanag niya.

"Oh my.. So kami lang pala ang aalis? " kinakabahan ako parang ang awkward kasi mamaya kung kami lang ni Mama ang magkasama lalo na at medyo bad shot ako sa kaniya.

"Okay lang yan.  Di ka naman napagalitan kanina di ba? " pagpapalakas ng loob ni Tita.

"Hindi.  Nakapagtataka nga eh parang wala lang sa kaniya. " di ko pa din lubos maisip kung ano ang mangyayari ngayong Gabi.

"O siya siya bilisan mo na at bumaba ka na ha. " saad ni Tita Alex at saka lumabas ng room ko.

"Hay Stella..  Goodluck talaga sa 'yo!" me while talking to myself in front of my mirror.

A few minutes later...
"Nandito na tayo. " basag ni Mama sa katahimikan sa loob ng van nang makarating kami sa isang restaurant.

"Stella,  stay here I'll just talk to someone.  Pick your order na. " saad niya at iniwan ako sandali na nakaupo malapit sa window sa loob ng resto.

I don't know what we're  doing here.  I never thought that we will be having a dinner tonight. Para saan naman kaya I mean wala akong maisip na okasyon. 

Maya Maya pa...
"Stella,  have you already picked your order? " tanong ni Mama pagbalik sa table namin.

"Opo MA. " matipid na sagot ko.

"Hi I'm sorry I'm a bit late. " napalunok ako habang kumakain nang may lalaking tumambad sa harap namin na siyang ikinagulat ko..
