Billy's POV
"Come on Son get up now.  I have something for you.  " Mom is trying to wake me up.

"I bet you'll like this. " she added and then she sat on my bed beside me.

"Hmm I don't know what are you.. "I stopped for a sec when she presented the plane tickets.

"No way. What are these for? " I got surprise and really don't know what's going on.

"We're going for a family trip son. " my mom said and I really did not expect these.

"Trip to Philippines? " I'm a bit confused why Philippines?

"Well,  I haven't told you but I've been there before and that's where I've found my bestfriend.  Remember Tita Angie? " she stated.

"Hmm.." I tried to remember her face at the back of my mind but I can't.

"She's from the Philippines.  And I want to visit her. " she said while smiling.

"Good to know that Mom.  So when are we going to see her? " I asked.

"Well,  after my shift the day after tomorrow. " she said with excitement.

"Are you on leave? " I am kinda not sure how long are we going to stay there.

"I am going to take a rest for two months. So I think it's enough for you to clear your head for a fresh start?" she smiled widely.

"I love you Mom. " my heart filled of happiness and I hugged her so tight.

Dominic's POV
"Brow you can use social media to find your ex. " I hissed and get a little bit annoyed while talking with John on the phone.

"I told you she blocked me ever since we broke up.  So paano mo sasabihing madali lang humanap ng paraan para ma-contact siya sige nga. " medyo inis na tono din ni John.

"Tssk.. How bout this?  Try mo puntahan sa house nila to check up on her and see if this locket is theirs. " I added with a bit sarcastic tone.

"Ha?  Ano ba naman Dom?  You want me to go there just to ask about that locket? Are you crazy?  She's my ex brow. " he said who's already irritated now.

"I'm just saying brow.  Wala namang masama if you'll visit her. " sabi ko naman at medyo binaba ang tono cause I felt that we're about to clash.

"Huh? I don't know brow. " he added.

"this is the last time that I'm gonna ask you a favor brow.  I know one of them owned this locket and it seems so important for that person cause it has her family's portrait.  I'm just a bit pity for whoever owned this.. so please try to think about it brow. " I'm already trying to beg him kasi I know that this locket is a valuable thing and I really want to return it.

"Okay sige. I can't promise anything Dom.  But I'll try. " he finally said and will try to do something.

"Thanks brow." I said and bid goodbye to him and wished him for a safe trip back to Surigao.

Knock knock...

"Anak can we talk? " I stared at the door for a few sec and saw my Dad standing.

"Ahm yeah what's up? " I'm a bit tense now.

"Well I'm sorry for ruining your vacation. " Dad said with a sincere voice.

"And thank you for not thinking twice to ga back with us. " he added while me just looking at the ground and don't know what to say.

"Ahm.. Alam ko na marami along dapat ihingi ng sorry sa iyo,  sa inyo ng Mom mo. "as he continued talking I felt a bit odd.

"And I know that it's not that easy for you to accept it.  I was wrong and I'm sorry anak. " he is about to end the conversation and walked out the door.

"I love your Mom and I'll regret it forever if I did not give myself a chance to have her back. " he finally closed the door and left me speechless.

Stella's POV
"Thanks Yna for this day. " saad ko after namin magmeryenda.

"I thank you too cause I had fun today. " then she hugged me.  Hmm napaisip ako bigla kung paano ako ngayon after nito.

"Hmm so where are you staying by the way? Don't tell me you'll go back to Davao. " tanong niya na tila nagtataka kung babalik nga ba ako sa Davao since medyo pagabi na.

"Hmm.. I.. Maybe will rent a hotel for tonight. " sabi ko pero di ako sure kung kakayanin ko nga ba talagang maghotel.

"Aw.  Or maybe you wanna go with me." she suddenly said and smirked.

"Huh what are you saying? " I'm a bit confused kung may pupuntahan pa ba kaming gala.

"Well you can stay at home if you want.  I mean it's more safe and no need to pay for rent or anything. " inalok niya talaga ako na sa kanila muna pansamantalang mag-stay.

"So come on my driver is here.  Just go okay. " she grabbed my hand and we both got inside the car.

"I dont know if it's a good idea Yna.. " nahihiya Kong saad sa kaniya.  Pero I'm happy somehow cause at least malalaman ko na kung saan matatagpuan si Papa.

"Don't worry it's just going to be me and you tonight cause Dad is out for a business trip. " sabi pa niya na tila sanay na sa set up nila ni Papa. Kaso nakakalungkot naman kasi akala ko makikita ko ulit siya ngayon..

"Salamat po Manong dito na lang po. " (slang) nagulat ako nang bigla siyang nagsalita ng Tagalog kausap ang driver niya pagkahinto namin sa harap ng isang malaking mansion na may pagka moderno ang style ng bahay.

"Oh you can speak tagalaog? " takang tanong ko.

"Oo naman syempre.  But I'm still learning. " she added (oops napapadalas na talaga pang-iingles ko ah.

"Grabe di mo sinabi nang di na ko nahirapan makipag-usap sa yo. " tuloy tuloy na saad ko.

"Wait what did you just say? " mukhang nawindang siya sa straight Tagalog ko.

"Oh I'm sorry never mind. " sabi ko sabay tumawa.

"Oh.. I'm sorry konti pa lang alam ko na words so I'm still a bit slow. "(Slang)saad niya naman at sabay tumawa din.

"Oh okay don't worry I'll teach you Tagalog words. " at tuluyan na kaming naglakad papasok ng bahay nila.

Medyo nalula ako sa laki ng bahay nila.  Siguro doble ito ng bahay nila sa Surigao.  Medyo malawak pa ang sala at halatang bagong lipat sila dahil sa limited na gamit nito.  Nang mapadaan kami sa lanai ay nakita Kong may naka-display na malaking portrait.  Si Papa at si Yna na medyo bata bata pa kasama ang isang magandang babae na may lahi, malamang yun ang Mommy ni Yna. Naalala ko bigla si Mama at iniisip kung hinahanap niya ba ako or kung ano ang mangyayari kung uuwe ako.

Abangan ang mga susunod na ganap since magbabakasyon ang family ni Billy sa Pinas may chance nga kaya na magtagpo ulit sila ni Yna.  Si Dominic na patuloy sa paghahanap ng paraan makita ang may-ari ng locket na napulot niya, may chance kaya na makilala niya ang taong iyon. At si Stella na sa wakas ay natunton na din ang bahay na tinitirhan ni Yna may chance pa nga kaya na makita niya ulit ang Papa niya.. Til next chapter.. 😘
