'The skies are clear this morning. Looks like we might have rain sooner or later. Um, so the sun is bright right?'

We all listened to the boring voice on the weather forecast radio station. For some strange reason, it kept Diana from crying all over again.

Alex was still in the front seat and he always looked back at me with warning in his eyes. Michael never really noticed. I really wished he would have.

'Alaina!' Diana yelled from the driver's seat of the car. She drove off to the parking lot of the supermarket and then turned to look at me. 'I want you to tell me everything about what happened to you.' I gulped. This was going to be difficult.

I looked out the window. I tried searching for something to say. Before I could say anything though, Michael nudged me. 'Alaina, I've seen that truck before!' he pointed to a red Lexus parked a few feet away from us.

'Whose is it?' I asked.

'I don't know his name but he's a friend of Roger's. We should go though it's dangerous to be-' Michael couldn't even finish his sentence because Diana was already speeding off.

'So we're being followed? Big deal?' Diana said hysterically. Alex put a reassuring hand on his sister's shoulder.

I grabbed Michael's hand and squeezed it. He smiled at me but his eyes were stormy. He knew what I was thinking.

This was all our faults. I felt a tear escape my eye and guilt made its way into my system. 'Diana, pull over and let us out...' I said softly. At a red light, Diana looked at me with bewildered eyes.

Alex turned around with a smirk on his face. Michael tried to catch my eye but I kept my eyes forward. Diana pulled over AGAIN.

'Why do you want me to kick you out?' she said almost angry.

'I'm just causing problems. I should have never asked Alex to take me home-' I stopped midway.

I forgot that Michael knew nothing about that. I shut my eyes knowing that I just made a major no-no.

'What do you mean take you home? You were going to leave without me?' Michael asked me. His face was red and his eyes were filling with tears.

'No, Michael. I-I-I don't know what I was thinking. I was just so scared and Roger... and you in the hospital... I'm so sorry.' I started rambling and I knew a full blown sob wasn't far away. Michael turned away from me. Looks like Alex didn't have to snitch on me after all.

I just did it myself.

'You want to switch seats with me, Mike?' Alex asked giving Michael a nickname.

'I would be happier to.' Michael replied glaring at me as he opened the car door and got out. Alex s soon sliding in next to me. I didn't even look at him. Diana started driving again and she smiled as she drove.

'I know what we need. And if we go there, those perverts are going to find it hard to find us.' She said smiling. I wasn't in the mood to do anything now.

Not when Michael wouldn't even look in my direction.

********

'We're going to Zero Gravity Thrill Amusement Park' Alex asked confused as we approached the huge entrance.

'I thought you guys could just need kid time for today. And besides, this place is always so full that it'd be hard to find us. It's the only amusement park in Dallas that offers dropping from a 7 storey building!' Diana said.

I stared out the window as we parked. I was so not in the mood for fun. But I got out of the car with everyone else. Diana pushed us hurriedly to the entrance booth and purchased our tickets before I could even breathe.

'So what do you guys want to do first? Bungee jumping, Skyscraper, Blast Off, or Nothin' but Net?' Diana asked as we walked around eyeing the attractions.

I stayed quiet while Michael struck up a conversation with Diana. I sighed loudly and decided it was time to clear my mind. I looked up at the ride that was called Skyscraper.

I stared at the huge propeller that no doubt would go fast enough to erase my thoughts.

While the others were busy buying drinks at a nearby concession stand, I took a place in the line. Once I got a seat on the propeller, I waited for my mind to go blank. I felt the propeller start to turn and before I knew I was flying.

I opened my eyes to look at the ground that seemed millions of miles away. I laughed and squeezed the handlebar of my seat. I looked down to try to catch a glimpse of Diana, Michael and Alex. They saw me and with their mouths open, they waved. Well, Alex and Diana did because Michael was busy.

Busy putting his arm around some blonde bitch. I wasn't the jealous type but if this ride had slowed down I would have chucked my shoes at their heads.

I closed my eyes refusing to look at them. I stayed that way until the ride slowed down and finally stopped. As I got up my heart was beating because of the speed.

But because of my anger. Michael had joined the others but this time a red-head girl was writing her number on her arm. I could feel my face go hot and without thinking I grabbed Alex.

I crushed my lips against his and I could feel his surprise. I heard Michael gasp and Diana giggled.

I released Alex and his face was bright red. Michael looked at me with disgust but I just smiled and waved to the girl next to him.

'Nice hair, Raggedy Ann.' I flashed her a big smile as she clenched her fists. I grabbed Alex's hand and led him to a different ride.

As we walked, I instantly regretted what I'd done. I guess that's why they call jealousy a green-eyed monster. You let your emotions get to you and you turn into the hulk.

Or in my case: A whore-y she hulk.
