Chapter 8 - Keep Forgetting

It’s been almost a week since Camila had told Lauren everything that had been going on with her and Cece, for some insane reason Camila thought, she didn’t know why or how but she felt comfortable around Lauren almost a sense of safety. Which was abnormal for the girls’ lack of communication during the years. She just felt that she could trust Lauren and that the said girl would be there for her. Upon revealing the situations to Lauren, Camila could tell the other girl was upset but not at all sock but indeed sadden but occurrence.

It was currently Friday afternoon; Lauren had just come back from swimming in the pool in her back yard. The girl wore a red bikini which fit her body perfectly, making her perfectly tone abs and curves stand out, which on top of that the said girl, water dripping from her giving her body an extra gloss to it.  

As Lauren practically ran through the hall way, not wanting to leave a lot of water in the hall way, internally slapping herself for forgetting her towel. As the said girl pass a few of the rooms turning back for a second, shaking her head thinking she heard something she collided with something fall back to the ground. As she looked up she saw the brown eye girl mumbling a few ‘sorry’ and ‘I wasn’t looking at where I was walking’ she couldn’t help but smile, thinking what could be more adorable than the scene in front of her. Quickly jumping up to her feet Lauren held out her had to assist the younger girl up.

As Camila got to her feet looking up to see who she had bumped into for a second she forgot how to breathe, eyes widen just might pop out any second, muttering out a ‘holy shit’. Taking a huge gulp trying to convince herself that she has not dead and when to heaven gawking at probably the hottest angel ever, which for a fact she highly doubt they walk around wearing sexy ass bikini, if so kill her now, thinking ‘ God you lucky baster’. Camila shook the thought out of her head coming back to reality and earth in her case; she looked at Lauren smiling wide trying to play it cool.

“H-hey lolo w-what’s up?” She shuttered out like what the heck the damn effects the older girl has on her as she stands there looking like some Goddess with her flipping sexy uggh.

Lauren just stands there chuckling under her breathe completely obvious of what is happening right now, I mean come on even a blind monkey could see it, monkeys could be blind, right? I don’t know whatever.

“Hey camzi I’m good, you?” Lauren said as she raised her arms pretending she’s stretching making her biceps flex and body to tighten.

“C-couldn’t be umm… better” Camila could swear if this continue she’d go crazy just now and attack Lauren, she tried breathing in and out but heck none of that was working. She finally got the courage to speck again “Don’t you own a shirt” but apparently she shouldn’t have.

Lauren just let out a laugh “Twilight fan eh and yes I do but I was just returning from the pool and that’s when a certain person crash into me.”

“Yeah I’m sorry about that but you kinda got me wet so we’re even”

Lauren laugh at what could be a pun but the other girl clearly didn’t realize. “But you made me hurt my butt, I should make you rub it now.” the older girl smirk, wiggling her eyebrows.

“I’m sure you’ll like that Jauregui”

“Why don’t you try it and see” Lauren said stepping a little closer to the other girl but was interrupted by a door being open.

“Mila hey there you are, I thought you got lost” Jennel said pecking her head out her room door. “C’mon we got lots to do” Camila simply nodded while Jennel went back to her room.

“See you around lolo the mistress awaits” Camila began to walk away but Lauren held on to her wrist spinning her back around to face her.

“You coming to my soccer match tomorrow?”

“Maybe, Cece will be playing so…” Lauren’s face immediately drop, how could she forget the girl she had been flirting with had a girlfriend and to make it worst it was her best friend.

“Oh, right I forgot” She let go off the younger’s girl hand and started walking away.

Camila quickly called after the girl “Laur?”

Lauren stopped turning around “Yeah”

“I’ll be cheering you on too don’t worry” Camila smile sweetly.

“Can’t wait” Lauren said before winking and entering her room.

Lauren P.O.V

Ugh how can I be so stupid, I lend against my door and slide my body down. What the fuck is happening to me, if you asked me a month ago if I liked Camila I would be so disgusted and probably wanna kill you for thinking that but now I’m not too sure, But how? How could you go from having completely no feelings what so ever for someone to having? I finally gave up on trying to understanding the un-understandable.

It was finally Saturday morning which meant game time, this was our first game for the season and to say I was excited was an understatement. The team was making their way to the field Cece, Normani and I side by side, the three most valuable players. I did a quick scan of the crowd when my eyes connected with brown. I give a quick wave before heading to the coach.

We all got in a circle while she giving us a pep talk before turning to me “Got anything to add captain?”

I smile and look to all of them “Are you guys hype!!” I yell pumping my fist in the air. “We got to kick off this season with a win ok, NOW LETS GO OUT THERE AND KICK SOME ASS!!” I shouted as we all ran to the field the crowd cheering and chanting ‘warriors’ which is our name. I couldn’t help but smile as I looked out at the crowd knowing that there was someone I wanted to empress, we won the toss and was me to kick the ball first, I led my team to victory already and this year will be no different, I looked at my opponent and smirk “Get ready to meet your maker”.

A/N: I just came back from a scene of an accident which occur with my neighbors, they help raise me since my parents were always working so I’m really worried. Comment within 5 minutes and I’ll post a new chapter, I need to distract myself.
