JOHN'S POV

"She's such a sweet girl," I thought to myself as she smiled while talking about her favorite things. I'm an otaku by heart just like her but that's a hidden agenda from them and they found out because of her. But it's alright.

"What are you doing here?!?" She suddenly yelled and we saw a girl with ash white hair and red eyes but what was peculiar about this subject was that she was floating... In mid-air!!

"Patawad Aria pero, nadala lang ako ng amoy ng espiritwal na enerhiya sa loob ng bahay (I'm sorry Aria but I was attracted to the scent of spiritual energy gathered inside the house) " the ghost suddenly started to cry and Aria sighed.

"Oo na, wala naman tayong magagawa dyan, ngayon alis at baka gawin ka pang abo nitong mga psychics na to (Well, there is no helping it.. Now shoo before these psychics make dust out of you)" she said and the ghost disappeared but before she was gone she said something striking. And in Nihonggo, I might add.

"Why'd you call them in when you can finish the evil aura yourself Aria" and with that, she went away.

"You idiotic little ghost!" Aria retorted but her face...

It was scary.

MAI'S POV

'She can finish the evil aura by herself?' I questioned as I looked at Aria. Her expression was guarded and her tense shoulders seemed like she was suppressing her anger.

"Now who is up for Dinner?" She asked as she smiled sweetly but it was kind of off. Like something was wrong.

"Aria, wait" Naru suddenly said and I felt a bubble of jealousy in my stomach.

"What is it Shibuya-san?" She asked her demeanor completely changing. She wasn't the sweet girl who came to get us for dinner, she was something else completely entirely different.

"Who was that?" He asked but she just stared at him and walked away.

Dinner time came and we all got the taste of Mrs. De Leon's cooking prowess. Which were close to perfection! We've eaten many viands like chicken adobo , sinigang, tilapia (bass fish) , etc etc. They were all just yummy!

Aria didn't eat much and we noticed a slight change in her bubbly personality.

"Taniyama-san. Be careful tonight" she patted my shoulder as she went outside. I looked at what she was doing outside and was shocked as in utterly shocked.

Her middle finger and index finger were pressed together while her other fingers were closed in. Her fingers were like when I am casting the nine pillars spell.

"Ketsu! (Creating a barrier)" she shouted and a large blue kekkai (barrier) formed around the house.

"That should be enough to keep them away... I hope" she said as she looked at the sky almost waiting for something.

"How could she have cast such a large barrier within seconds? Even I can't do that." I whispered to myself and suddenly heard a howling monster. Oh, God! It came from outside! Aria was outside!

"Naru!!" I shouted when they suddenly went out of the door and we saw some weird-looking ayakashi. (Monsters). They were gruesome-looking creatures ranging from the smallest to the largest with unknown faces and vicious eyes. Some had sharp claws while others have slimy tentacles. Yuck.

"Aria get inside!" Gene said but Aria didn't.

"My parents don't know but I'm a psychic like you guys. More precisely speaking I'm a Kekkaishi.." Aria said smiling at us while she cast a kekkai on one of the large ayakashi.
