chapter one: the beginning

Diego's POV:
     Today's the day. I'm going to confess my love to Dora. I know we're cousins, but what I feel when I'm with her is more than a "family" type love. I don't know. I just am terrified she won't feel the same way.
     We have been really close since the day we met. I just knew that there was a connection. I know I'm only 8, but I think I've met the love of my life.

Dora's POV
     Diego and I have always been such amazing friends. Sometimes he looks at me in this weird way...maybe he...no. Probably just my imagination. He texted me, asking if we could talk. I said he could come over and tell me. I'm sure it's nothing, but I'm a little anxious. I'm not sure why.
