Dora's POV:

When Diego and I were just 4 years old, we decided it would come in handy to build a treehouse in my backyard. My father got to work, created a fairly-sized treehouse in a tree that towered over the rest. Inside, we had placed rugs, blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals. We decorated it as if it were our second home, as it had an entertainment center, a play kitchen, and we each had a corner that we would call our 'bedrooms'. Those long nights we would spend stargazing, as the roof of our treehouse was nonexistent, but in its place was a glass top to let the light inWe used to go in it all the time, but now it's only used for important matters. Diego had given it the title of "our spot" as we got older to make it seem less embarrassing when we needed to make plans to meet there. As I climbed up the ladder, I saw Diegos grey and orange sneakers resting on the treehouses' floor. I entered, plopping down on my pink beanbag. I let out a sigh, and cleared my throat. "I need to tell you something..." "Okay, whats up?" I gulped, and I began speaking. "I like you..." I said so quietly, it seemed as if I could impersonate a mouses squeak if I wanted to. "what?" "I like you. And I want to be  more than friends." We both sat up at the same time, cautiously inching towards each other. He grabbed me by the cheek, and pulled me into a kiss. Without hesitation, I kissed back. After he pulled away, he let out a soft "i like you, too." I smiled a huge grin, as he pulled me into his loving arms. An embrace I had missed the past few days, considering the fact that all this drama occurred just a couple days prior. But I realized I couldn't live without him in my life. I barely made it into his arms today, what would I do if we split again? I needed him, more than air. "So...what are we?" I asked. He simply shrugged his shoulders, and pulled me by the waist back into his arms. "I wish I could stay here forever." I whined. He spoke, "So, why don't we?"
