Chapter 20

Alex's POV

I wake up the next morning and quickly take a shower and brush my teeth, the girls aren't in here so I am guessing they are downstairs.

Yesterday after I ran upstairs the girls were asking so many questions so I answered them and then we went to bed. I go downstairs after changing and see almost everyone in the living room. I go over and sit next to Brandon.

"Hey." I say quietly.

"Hey Alex." He says back.

"I'm tired." I say.

"Me too." He replies.

I lay my head on his lap and spread the rest of my body on the couch. He looks down at my amused.

"Don't judge the tired person!" I say.

"Who said I was judging?" He says.

"No one." I mumble.

"That's what I thought." He says.

He picks up my headphones that were around my neck and puts them on.

He looked really funny because they were too small I laugh at him and then he smiles and puts them back on me.

Tyler comes downstairs and looks at us.

He looks angry, or something like that?

He rolls his eyes and walks over to Mason. I look over at the girls and the look at me reassuringly. I kind of half smile back.

"Okay now that everyone is here, today we are going to be walking around the town, the town is like thirty minutes away, so who is driving?" Mason asks.

"I guess I will drive." Tyler says.

I sit with Jordyn and Skylar in the back while Brandon and Mason are in front of us and then Tyler is driving.

I pull out my phone and start taking landscape photos.

This place is so pretty, I wish I could come back, sadly this is Tyler's place.

"I wonder why I don't come here more often. This place is beautiful." Skylar says and then I remember, this is Skylar's place too!

"Yeah, you, me, and Alex, should come here again soon." Jordyn says replying to Skylar.

"That would be fun, having girl nights here." Skylar replies.

"No we are taking over, that cabin will be off limits to the girls unless they are with me." Tyler says.

"That's not fair, I'm asking daddy." Skylar says.

"I'm older I can take charge." Tyler says.

"Tyler stop being a fucking asshole and keep your eyes on the road before you kill us all!" Jordyn yells.

"No." He says taking his hands off the wheel and his eyes off the road.

He unbuckles his seatbelt and hops over the console and to the back seat. Mason quickly jumps into the drivers seat but by that time it's too late.

We go swerving off the road and hit a tree.

I quickly take out my phone and call an ambulance.

"Hello, what is your emergency?" The lady answering says.

"Umm... I have just been in an accident and there was a lot of people in our car, a few are injured." I reply quickly.

"Okay miss, where are you and we will send help." She says.

"We are just off road Sunshine. We are the van that has hit a tree." I say.

"Okay miss, thank you, help is on your way." She says.

"Thank you." I say and then hang up.

I start helping people out of the car. I see Mason is the most hurt because he was the one trying to save us.

I help him out first, I open the drivers door and pull him out the car laying him on the ground.

Next I go to Brandon and help him out of the car.

After Brandon Skylar and Jordyn came out of the car, they weren't hurt so they could just walk out.

I look at Tyler and walk away. I was not about to help him when he did all of this to us.

I go over to Mason and Brandon was helping Tyler out of the car and the girls and I were trying to help Mason.

"Come on Mason, stay with us." I say. I hear sirens and then the next thing you know the ambulance were rushing out of the car and to Mason.

"Which one of you called us?" One of the ambulance asked. I raise my hand and he comes over to me.

"I just have to ask you a few questions." He says and I nod.

"How did this happen?" He asked.

"Well um, the driver which by the way was not the one that is being put in the ambulance right now. The driver got into an argument with his sister and my friend told him to keep his eyes on the road but he refused and then let go of the wheel and unbuckled his seat belt and jumped in the back seats-" I start to say but I start tearing up.

"Take your time miss, you are a very brave girl." He says reassuringly.

"Th-The person that is being put in the ambulance is my twin brother he jumped in the front seat trying to save us but he was too late and then we crashed, he didn't have a seatbelt on because he just got in that seat and was focused on getting the wheel." I finish and this time I actually do start crying.

"Thank you miss, that's all I will ask you for right now, when we get to the Hospital I will ask you more." He says and I nod.

I see a few cop cars pull up and the cops start getting out.

"Okay we are here to bring you guys to the Hospital safely, 3 to a car." One of the cops say.

I go in a car with Jordyn and Skylar, and then Brandon and Tyler go together.

We arrive at the Hospital and wait for the doctor to come out and tell us what is going on with Mase. I am a mess, I have been crying since we got here.
