The Reckoning
Chapter One

Lucy, Caroline, Elena and Tyler were in school for senior prank night. They had just finished setting the mouse traps on the floor.

Matt came in, forgetting all about senior prank night. "Ohhh! Come on, Matt! Seriously!" Lucy complained

"Do you seriously know how long it took for us to set all this up?!" Caroline asked angrily.

"Forget about senior prank night, huh?" Tyler asked with a grin "Clearly" Matt laughed

"How could you forget? We've only been waiting for this since like freshman year."

"This is supposed to be the most memorable night of our lives" Lucy reminded

"Yeah, Matt. If I'm doing this, you're doing this." Elena responded

"I'm kind of surprised any of you are doing this." Matt raised an eyebrow.

"Caroline is making us" Bonnie chimes in

Lucy turned her head over to Caroline, knowing she was going to begin with the same speech she has told them many times

"We're about to be seniors, these are the memories that will stay with us forever and if we don't-" Caroline reminded before getting cut off by Elena and Lucy

"And if we don't create these memories now, then what's the point of it all?" Elena and Lucy join in, knowing what she's going to say.

After putting superglue on the floor in one of the classrooms, she went to Alaric's classroom to see if Elena needed help but the task hadn't been done so she went to look for Elena.

Elena had told her and Caroline that she was going to superglue Alaric's desk but the room was empty

"Hey, do you know where Elena is?" Lucy asked to one of the girls. "I think I seen her go in the hall with a guy"

"Alright thanks" Lucy scrunched her nose in confusion, she had no idea why Elena didn't do the task. She opened the doors to the hall

"Elena! Next time at least tell Caroline that you didn't want to superglue Alaric's desk so she could force you do it. I mean you said you were making-" Lucy stopped rambling to see Klaus holding Elena with a smirk.

"Nik?!" Lucy exclaimed. "Nice to see you again, little wolf"

"How do you know Klaus? I don't remember you meeting him" Elena asked Lucy with a confused expression

"Wait, what? This is the famous Klaus Mikaelson?" Lucy asked, Elena nodded.

"That's awesome! I've always wanted to meet one of Elijah's siblings, although I'm quite upset you didn't tell me who you actually were but it doesn't matter because I can get to know you now. It would've been nice to meet Rebekah but it's nice to see you again, Klaus Mikaelson" Lucy greeted, sticking her hand out for him to shake.
