We arrived at the restaurant in time and we finally met Mr. Guevara.
I was impressed. I'm expecting a middle aged man but here stands before us is a young man in his early twenties or younger.
They discussed about the business plan. So he's setting a gaming company. They will do the strategy and all the programs. Everything. Except for designs. He said he wants our company to exclusively design for them.
He offered a good price as well.
Vince reviewed the terms and conditions written on a white paper.
"This is definitely a great offer, Mr Guevara.. But I'm curious, why us? I mean sa resources nyo, you can afford international companies to design for you." tanong nya.
"Well I want to support local artists. And I saw some of your company's work. It's world class naman so I liked it." ani Mr. Guevara.
"Wow, thanks for the appreciation, Sir." Vince smiled.
"Oh please, I have a favor to ask. Just call me Tristan. I don't want a very formal working environment. Besides I think hindi naman ako ganun katanda para tawaging sir." he laughed.
He's handsome, in the true meaning of that word. With a very gorgeous eyes. He looks kind too.
"I like that. Then call me Vince. And you can call my Secretary, Juliet."
Tumingin sa akin si Tristan at ngumiti. He has a killer smile too. I never imagined someone could be this perfect.
"Well then, nice to meet you, Vince and Juliet. I look forward on working with you. Juliet, you can talk to my secretary about the details, I will also come to your company when I have time." Tristan said.
Tumango ako at ngumiti sa kanya.
"By the way, Tristan if you don't mind me asking, do you have any girlfriend?" tanong ni Vince.
Parehas kaming napatingin sa kanya.
Tristan looked surprised with his question. Then he smiled.
"Yes. I have a fiancee. But why do you ask?" he answered.
"Ah" tumango tango si Vince. "I have a friend kasi. Gusto ko sanang ipakilala sayo. Sayang nga lang taken ka na"
Tristan Chuckled. Siniko ko naman si Vince. How can he talk casually to our new business partner?

So we went back to the company after lunch.
Tristan is a cool guy kahit na napakabata nya pa, kaya nyang makipagsabayan dahil hindi maipagkakailang matalino syang tao, I can't help feeling envious of his fiancee. Lucky girl indeed.
"Hey, anong iniisip mo?" bahagyang tinuktok ni Vince ang mesa ko.
Napukaw ako sa pag iisip at tiningnan ko sya. Nandito na pala sya sa harapan ko pero hindi ko namamalayan.
"Wala naman." umayos ako ng upo. "May kailangan ka ba?"
"Uh, ano.." nagkamot sya ng batok at tumingin sa sahig.
"Sabi na may kailangan ka e. Ano yun?" I asked.
Tumingin sya sa akin at ngumiti ng pangimi. "Juliet, favor naman o"
I rolled my eyes. "Babae na naman?"
"Grabe ka naman makababae. Parang lagi naman akong nanghihingi ng favor. Pero tama ka, babae nga. hehe" he awkwardly said.
I facepalmed.
"What is it this time, Vince?"
"Eh alam mo naman diba? Weeksary namin ni Ella. Kanina nung tumawag ka, kalalabas lang namin." he looked at me. "Gusto ko kasi syang itreat sa labas. Can you suggest something na magugustuhan nya?"
"Seryoso ka?" I glared at him.
"Please naman munchkin oh" kumapit sya sa braso ko at paramg batang nag puppy eyes.
Munchkin ang tawag nya sa akin kapag ganyang naglalambing or may hihinging pabor.
"You had been doing it for years, Vincent. Hanggang ngayon wala ka pa ring idea? Ano bang madalas kong gawin para sa mga babae mo?" ako lagi ang nag aarrange ng surprises nya para sa mga nagiging girlfriends nya.
I know it's beyond secretary duties. Nung una naiinis ako. But we've been friends for more than 7 years at mula nung nagtrabaho ako sa company nya, wala pa syang sineryosong babae.
May gusto ako sa kanya pero hindi ako nagseselos sa mga babaeng dumadaan sa buhay nya. I feel pity for them actually.
"Right." he sighed. "Then please book me a table for two. Dun sa favorite resto ko. I want a candle lit dinner."
He immediately walk towards the door.
"San ka pupunta?" pahabol ko.
"I'll buy some gift for Ella."
Kumindat pa sya bago lumabas ng office.
