I went to the restaurant and didn't expect na kasama nina Kelley si Yue.
Ngumiti ako nang makalapit sa kanila.
Kamustahan lang, kwentuhan hanggang lumipas ang oras.
Hindi ko sila gaanong napagtuunan ng pansin dahil busy ako kakaisip tungkol kila Vince.
Namalayan ko nalang, malapit nang matapos ang breaktime ko.
"Excuse me, guys. I need to go back to the office now." paalam ko. "Breaktime is over."
"Why so fast? Can't you extend just a little?" tanong ni Kelley.
Pinandilatan ko sya. Wala naman akong dahilan para mag stay.
"Next time you ask me out, should be weekend so we'll have plenty of time to chitchat." I said. Tumayo na ako.
Tumayo din si Yue at nagprisinta na ihahatid ako palabas. Pumayag naman ako.
"I will fly back to Taiwan tomorrow" he said paglabas namin sa resto.
"Really? Then have a safe trip" I smiled at him.
He chuckled. "I mean, can I call you? I've been wanting to ask for your number since we met but I think you won't give it back then."
I looked at him. "Sure. Why not?"
I gave him my number. He also asked for my facebook name. I seldom use social media but I told him anyway.
Nagpaalam na ako sa kanya.

Kinahapunan, habang nagreready na ako pauwi, tumunog ang telecom sa office. Vince is still busy with his computer.
Dinampot ko ang receiver. "Hello?"
"Hi Ma'am Juliet, this is from front desk. Someone is looking for you, he said he's Yue Chen." sabi ng receptionist. "Should I send him up?"
"No, no. I'm going out now. Tell him to wait for me. Thanks."
"Okay maam" sagot nito.
Ibinaba ko na ang phone at dinampot ang bag ko. Vince is looking at me.
"Who was that?" he asked.
"My friend. Mauuna na ako." paalam ko sa kanya.
Tumayo na rin sya at sumabay sa akin. "Let me meet that friend of yours."
"What?" I glared at him.
"I told you, bago ka mag boyfriend, ipakilala mo sa amin ni Jerome, para makilatis namin." sabi nya habang nakapamulsa.
"OA ha? Hindi ko sya boyfriend." sagot ko.
"Dun din ang punta nun. Wala kang friend na lalaki bukod sa amin ni Jerome so I assumed he's a suitor. I'll remind you, men are dangerous, para silang leon. And weak girls are their prey. I'm afraid sa maling lalaki ka mapunta. So, I need to be sure." he said as we got into the elevator.
Napangiti ako. He's concerned about me. But still put me on friendzone.
Nakarating kami sa lobby where Yue waits.
"Hi." bati ko.
He smiled when he saw us.
"Sir, this is Yue, my friend. Yue, this is my boss, Mr Mercado." pakilala ko sa kanila.
Vince smirked at how I introduced them.
He offered his hand to Yue. "I'm Vincent. Nice to meet you"
Yue received his hand. "Same here"
They are looking at each other. As if sinusukat nila ang isa't isa. I don't know what's going on with their minds.
Pareho silang matangkad. Mas mataas lang si Yue ng 2 inches.
They never spoke of any word. Hanggang sa nagpaalam na ako na aalis na kami ni Yue.
