Chapter-11

Preeti's POV

He is busy with his phone all the time. Constable who was with me in the bus is taking pictures and videos of him.He was chatting to someone on phone.I know every new information will be passed to Varun by PC (Police constable).

I am holding my breathe. He is the one Mr.Rajesh Mehra's friend who slapped me and threatened me at the mall.What is he doing here? To where he is travelling?!Is he following me?!Several questions started pandering in my brain.Still I could manage to sleep,eat and read.I am wearing a scarf all the time.Though I don't know why he is here but he looks damn nervous.May be he is doing something hiding.May be.

My sense gave me a different answer this time. May be he wants to run away from anyone,may be from Police.I observed his moves and they are really nervous.He looks so worried about something.I raised my eyebrow. Now I got confirmed now he is doing something fishy.

Bus halted at the bus shelter.He is about to got down.I have to step down after three or more stops.What to do?!Should I follow him.Why can't?! I adjusted my scarf and I got down.I tricked and got down quickly behind him.I know Varun's spy,Constable is following me.I didn't heed his words.I am following him and he is messaging me all the time.

I know he would've already sent the message to Varun.I can tackle him but curiosity in me killing me as there is a saying right?! Curiosity killed the cat but I don't want to be get killed.

He took an Auto and I followed him from bus shelter hiding my face under scarf.I too took an auto and following him.It stopped in front of a hotel,not a cozy one but comfortable enough to have a peaceful sleep.

I followed him behind and reached reception.I noted the room number and other details vividly.I didn't stop there followed his room.I tried to peep through the half opened door.He is rambling in the room holding a cell phone. Why so?!Why is he here?I am hiding behind the door and watching him.I know its wrong to eavesdrop but sometimes we are out of choices.

"Hello" He called someone and talking to him in a hurried tone.

"What if he reaches there before us?!Rajesh will kill us if it happens!"He shouted in rage.

I twitched at his shout and took a second to stay composed.

"Don't hesitate to injure him,kill him even" He stamped his foot in anger.

About whom he is talking?!Is he talking about my Varun.My heart missed it's beat for a while.Why so?!Why does he want to harm him?And where did Varun go?!I took a deep breath and asked myself to stay calm.

"Where is he now?!Do you know that at least?!"He sighed and asked trying to control his anger.I looked at him he is looking furious with clenched fist.

"What?!Did he meet commissioner?!"He yelled.Now I know it's about Varun.Oh god!I was about to collapse.

" And Do you know who leaked those pictures to Media?!"He asked after a second.He is asking about the pictures and footage that leaked to media last evening,Varun kissing me in public.

"You people are mere waste and you don't deserve to live.Can't you find a small thing?!"He is yelling at the person on other side continuously.

"Ah....I won't leave him.How dare he is?How can he go to Bangalore even after our warning to his Sweetheart?Seems he did pay a heed to my threat?" He gritted his teeth.

"Oh my god!" I gulped in fear.

I felt that I did a big mistake by following him.Sometimes my curiosity keeps me in danger.I bite my tongue and stood there like a rock.

I didn't heard any sound for next few minutes.My heart started beating so fast and I can hear my own heart beat.I panicked me to peaks.I almost got drenched in sweat and a lump got formed in my throat.I am chocking crazily.I closed my mouth with my hand closely and tried to peep through the door again.I couldn't find him anywhere.I closed my eyes trying to calm down.

Sudden Eerie of silence.I don't know whether I should step ahead or not?A single wrong step will land me into great trouble.

But where the hell is he?I l stepped ahead and stopped by his booming voice and stood there at the door.I bent formats to see him standing at the door showing me his back.

"Kill him,right now"He laughed sarcastically.

"What?!"I couldn't hold my tongue.I screamed.

"I know you are here my kitten!" He smirked and dragged me towards him.

"Leave me!"I tried to pummel him with my fists but he is so strong to deal.

Suddenly my phone started rattling.

I looked at it and happy to see Varun,my saviour calling.

"Give it to me"He asked trying to reach my hand while another hand is embraced around my waist holding it tightly.

"No!"I answered the call.

" Vihari Bhavan,33!"I shouted lifting the call.

"You...Bitch!" He slapped me on my face and throw the cell on floor.

"You...B*st*rd"I shouted for which I received another slap.

This time he slapped me so harshly,blood started oozing between my lips.

"I won't leave you!"He looked at me with lustful eyes. My heart stopped for a second.What does he mean?!No,No!He can't do that.I did a big mistake.How can I forget I am dealing with a criminal.

My only hope now is my Varun.I somehow conveyed him where I am.

"Vihari Bhavan,33!"I whispered and looked at my cell which he has thown on floor.It broke into pieces and they are lying here and there.

"God,Please help me!"I begged.

His grip is tightening around my waist and I am squealing in pain.

He dragged me into the room.

I pushed him away mustering all my energy.

"You..."He was about to catch me.

I picked something and broke it on his head.

What did I do?I didn't hit hard.Its a Paper weight on table.But sufficient enough to divert his attention.I grabbed my handbag and his phone.I ran from there till I hit a rocky chest..
