A/N hey guys i know i promised a chapter way back and unfortunately it has been mega delayed due to the fact that i just started further education and work is super tough! but i hope you can forgive me and enjoy the next chapter of this rather oblivious love story! xxx

stings pov:

Once I was out of site I smiled to myself and shook my head, he really is an idiot sometimes, he lets me do anything I  want and never thinks of the consequences. What if that was someone else with different intentions, Rogue could have been used or hurt by someone if it wasn't me! but i guess thats just me being overprotective again, I mean can you blame me, I've known the guys since we where kids.

Another gentle sigh escaped my lips as I entered my office and carefully shut the door behind me, I leaned against the wood and took a big breath before looking at my desk with determination, Right! Paper work here I come!.

Rogues pov:

I watched as Sting turned and took his leave, a prideful grace in his step, once he was gone I couldn't help but chuckle, if it was anyone but Sting I would have freaked and thumped  the guy but with Sting I guess i'm more comfortable. Pulling myself up I perched on the edge of the booths padded seats and closed my eyes, get the girl huh? I sighed and opened my eyes, large brown orbs stared directly at me while a tanned face loomed over mine,

"ah!"

Flinching on reflex I shoved the being away and covered my face,

"ah! sorry Rogue-san I didn't mean to scare you, you just looked so peaceful in thought."

After hearing the voice I slowly lowered my arms to see the new girl standing in front of me, her arms joined behind her back and her head tilted slightly as she smiled sweetly down at me, I blinked a few times before giving a short sigh,

"No problem its fine, sorry to be rude but what was your name again?"

Rubbing the back of my neck awkwardly I offered her my hand,

" oh its okay! Im Lily!"

Her voice lifted as she took my hand and gave it a soft shake, she giggled and I could see the rather dark red spreading across her cheeks. 'Well i guess i already got the girl Sting'. Carefully retracting my hand I motioned to the seat opposite me and faintly smiled, her eyes glistened as she accepted my offer and seated across from me leaning on the table which caused an unnecessary unwanted amount of cleverage(spelling?) to push up from her top. Feeling myself flush I directed my eyes back up to her face and began to start what I hoped would be an easy conversation.

" so why did you join Sabertooth?"

" well I heard that since it got a new guild master the guild is a lot more friendly and accepting to weaker members so I thought it would be fun to start a new here, but now that i'm here, I think I have a new reason for joining."

She smiled up at me through her eyelashes, her cheeks dusted pink and her finger twining with each other, ' oh god, Sting help'

>time skip: few hours later<

I spent most of the day talking with Lily and finding out a lot about her, her hair which appears black was originally brown but she dyed it and she was born in march, honestly I think information like this is unnecessary but Sting told me to give it a try so getting to know her was the way to go, However talking seems to make the day go fast super quick. Turning to look out the window I sighed,

" hey Lily its getting late we should probably catch up tomorrow."

" yeah you're right, hey if its not a bother could you walk me home?, its really dark and i'm afraid to go out by myself this late"
