5 Years later

Fawn's POV

It had been 5 years.

5 years since my beautiful angels were born.

Dawn and midnight have grown, really fast.

Lilly walked into their room while I was picking up the toys they had left on the floor.

"So, how you feeling?" Lilly asked from behind me.

"About?"

"Us getting married soon.." She replied looking at me, her eyes sparkling.

"I mean I--" I was stopped by Her grabbing my hand and looking into my eyes with a stare.

"I was thinking it should be soon.." Her gaze looking away from me.

"I would like that."

"We have waited for almost 7 years, it's time we should stop waiting."

She leaned in for a kiss, her kiss soft and not intense.

"Ew!"

"Gross."

We pulled away and looked to the side, Dawn and Midnight standing there with disgusted faces.

Lilly ran over to Dawn and picked her up.

"Hello little angels!"

Dawn laughed, I did too.

She put Dawn down and crotched in front of Dawn and her brother.

"You guys should get to bed soon, huh?" Lilly asked, the twins frowning.

"But mommy! We're not tired!" Dawn whined.

She chuckled.

"But you have to get to sleep, Mommy and I have a special Day coming."

"Really?" Dawn asked, her eyes wide.

"So do you know what 'Wedding' means?" She asked them, their faces pondering.

"Uh where you and Mom wear fancy dresses and put rings on each others fingers?" Midnight replied.

"Not exactly, but you are very close."

Lilly looked at me.

"That's going to be tommorow, so you have to be ready." Lilly told them, looking back at me.

I gasped, Tommorow?

"Okay? So you should get enough sleep."

"Okay Mommy! We will!" The twins said excitedly, before running out of the doorway and back to Fawn and I's room to get ready.

"Tommorow? Lilly are you crazy?" I snap with a whisper tone.

"I'm not just crazy, I am in love." She replied with a smile.

"But what about?-"

"About the dress? The venue? Everything?"

"I don't care how you look or what you look like, as long as your there, with me, I don't care."

"What if I wasn't there?"

She laughed, "That wouldn't happen."

"I know."

"Oh come here you." She said before pulling me in for a kiss.

After 10 minutes she pulled away, right before the twins walked in.

"Were ready mom's!" Midnight said, wearing a dark blue onesie and Dawn wearing a pastel pink onesie.

"You two are adorable." I said, walking over to them.

Dawn smiled and flapped her arms like a penguin.

"Yes we are!"

After that, Lilly and I put them to bed quickly and went back to our room.

"So we're really doing this tommorow?" I asked.

"Yeah, I mean we've waited about 7 years, it's time." Lilly replied.

I wondered, was she really serious?

We got ready for bed, checked on the kids and finally fell asleep.

I had a great day, and a great last 5 years.

But...will it last?
