A week went by and I still hadn't heard from Mystery Man. I put it to the back of ny mind since I don't even actually know him.
I have enough to worry about as it is. John's working so much at the moment and I've got loads of college work to do before we start cramming for our final exams.
Sitting in a booth at the back of work, I'm eating my salad roll when I hear the ping of my phone.
MM - Hey Natasha, Sorry I haven't text you all week. How's it been?
Huh now I hear from him.
Natasha - Hey MM. I've been ok but where did you disappear to?
MM - haha, I didn't disappear. You said you had a boyfriend and I thought it wasn't appropriate to text you is all.
Natasha - So what changed your mind?
MM - Well I decided I enjoyed texting you, so I'll take my chances. So what are you doing on this boring day?
Natasha - I'm actually on my lunch break.
MM - Oh yeah. And where do you work anyway?
Natasha - Just a small Diner.
MM - How vague... So does the boyfriend know you message mysterious men?
Natasha - Haha no! I don't get to see him much as it is. I'm not going to waste time telling him I have been texting a mysterious pen pal.
MM - Pen pal? Who even uses that term anymore?
Natasha - Shut up. I gtg back to work. Bye MM
MM - Haha ok ok. Bye Tash
