"Why did you choose him?"

My voice was quiet as I discussed the phonecall with Jungkook, our hands clasped together as we talked.

"He hurt us.." I added, making eye contact with him.

"So he owes me."

"What? Owes you?"

I looked at him, confused.

"He hurt you. It doesn't matter that he hurt me, it's you that matters."

I blushed, looking away.

"That makes no sense.."

"Yes it does. There's a mutual agreement between him and I, which states that if one of us hurts or takes something that is important to them, they have to repay it in some way. It stops us from slitting each other's throats."

"Oh. When is he gonna do it?"

"Whenever he wants to."

Gunshots could be heard in the distance, and I laughed slightly at the timing.

"Any more questions?"
