The Impala rumbled down the empty highway like some kind of dark and charging horse. Castiel and Dean sat in the front seats in a comfortable silence, simply watching as the world whipped by them and enjoying the fact that they were together. After a few more minutes, Cas finally broke the quiet that hung over them.
"So are you going to tell me where we're going anytime soon?"
"It's a surprise," Dean smirked, shooting his boyfriend a playful look.
"Deaaaan," Cas complained. "We've been driving for two hours will you please tell me?"
Dean sighed. "Oh alrighhht, you've forced my hand. We're going to a little town called Rock Ridge, it's a nice place, pretty classy."
"Classy?" Cas asked, he pictured a boring town filled with lots of antique stores and fine-dining. A place where old people came to spend their retirement.
"By classy I mean that it's well kept and not boring. The nightlife scene there is jumpin', there's like four or five clubs on main-street," Dean explained.
Castiel grinned, he had never been one to 'live it up on a friday night' or something like that, but it sounded adventurous and new and he was excited nonetheless. "I can hardly wait," Cas smiled.
"Neither can I," Dean answered. There was a pause. "Music?" he suddenly proposed, reaching for the radio.
"Yes please."
Dean clicked it on and a soft melancholy voice could be heard singing through the car's speakers. Dean changed it to a a rock station soon after, but not before the artist got a few lines in:

If you're not everything
You're nothing 'till you try to be
and nobody needs saving
just a little bit of empathy

Cas looked at his shoes. In that moment, it felt like a message from the universe.

"Thees ees your room sirs," a small man with a heavy accent said, unlocking their hotel room and opening it wide to present it to them. Castiel's jaw hit the floor.
The place was enormous, and lavish. The suite was decorated with pristine white carpet, warm white walls with golden moulding around the edges and along the baseboards. In the main room there was a large jacuzzi, a flatscreen TV up on the wall, and two luxurious armchairs and a loveseat. Wide sliding doors led to the bedroom where there was a large modern fireplace and a bed that looked unbelievably comfortable, attached was a large bathroom. The suite was also furnished with all the normal things such as a dining set, a coffee table, a wardrobe, and a small but elegant kitchenette.
"I hope dees ees satisfactory," the small man said again.
Castiel was still gaping, so Dean answered. "It is quite nice, thank you."
"It ees no problem at all, plees let us know if vi can be of anymore serveece to you two kind gentlemen," said the small man respectfully.
"Thank you very much... er?" Dean searched for a name.
"Michael, Michael elDoraz. My brother and I owns dees hotel," Michael explained.
"Pleased to meet you Mr. elDoraz, I'm Robert Bachman and this is Louis Queen," Dean extended his arm and shook the shorter man's hand.
"Yes, I pleased to meet you two also," Michael agreed, dropping Dean's hand and reaching for Cas's.
Castiel shook Mr. elDoraz's hand automatically, he was still in shock and it hadn't really even registered that Dean had given the man fake names.
"Are you two on honeymoon?" Michael asked friendlily.
Dean laughed nervously but then quickly recovered himself realizing that he had just been given an opportunity, "Oh yes, me and my man here just got married a couple days ago!," he clapped Castiel on the back. "We heard so many good things about your hotel we just had to make it our first stop," Dean gushed. Every word coming out of his mouth was a lie.
Michael was none the wiser, the little man practically glowed at the compliment. "Ah, but meester Bachman you are too kind! I vill arrange to have a complimentary bottle of champagne sent up to you along vith your luggage. Sank you so much for choosing to stay vith us. I apologize but I must go now, I have beesness to attend to. Goodnight gentlemen!" Mr. elDoraz gave a small bow and stepped away before turning his back and walking off, small feet not making too much noise on the carpet.
Once he was gone, Cas turned on Dean.

"Louis Queen?? On honeymoon! This is the fucking honeymoon suite isn't it?! You lied to that nice man," he said pointing in the direction that he'd left in. "What the hell are you playing at? And more importantly how in HELL could you afford this room?!" Cas hissed angrily, his voice not rising that much over a whisper in fear that the wrong person would hear them.
Dean hummed, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Well to answer your last question, I couldn't actually afford this room. And hey, calm down Louis, I got us a free bottle of the good stuff now didn't I?"
"Who ARE you?" Cas asked, somewhat aghast, but he couldn't keep the small grin from his lips.
"I'm Robert Bachman of course!" he grinned fiendishly and stepped into their room.
Cas followed obediently but the stream of questions kept coming: "Why did you use fake names??"
"For fun!" Dean called over his shoulder, as he checked out the impressive room. "And because technically we're not even supposed to have a close relationship never mind book a honeymoon suite together."
Castiel sighed resignedly and sat down heavily in one of the big armchairs. The man had a point, he just hated that it was true. Someday they would be together without shame, someday they could hold hands and kiss in front of God and everyone and not have to worry about any consequences.

Dean paced around the room, looking out the large windows and admiring the lovely little details in the decorating.
"It ain't half bad," he said appreciatively.
There was a knock at the door. Dean went to answer it. It was the bellhop with all their bags and a bucket of ice with a champagne bottle sticking out of it. He tipped the man, who brought everything into their room, and he left again. Once more they were alone.
Castiel got up to appreciate the bottle that Michael had sent up. "This was nice of him," Cas said as he looked at the label.
"It is! But no time for that now," Dean replied, taking the bottle from him and stashing it in the mini fridge. "We're going out sugar!"
"Out where?" Castiel laughed.
"On the town silly!" Dean grabbed Cas's hand and pulled him towards the door. "Let's go!"
