CHAPTER 18 - STARTLED

Rikza's POV:

All happened so sudden that I just couldn't have the chance to convince them to delay their plan.They went leaving me alone with my monstrous HUSBAND.

He left me in the amidst of crowd and disappeared from my sight in a fraction of seconds.

I was relaxed Alhamdulillah with the fact that the bodyguard was there to guide me in this new city since I don't know anything regarding the streets and etc etc.

I reached home to find him at the dining hall waiting for the maid to lay the dinner table and serve the dishes.

"Came with your driver-in-law?"
He asked with an evil grin.

His choice of words forced me to giggle but I controlled my laughter and ambled towards the staircase which was leading it's way to HIS room.

Well I chose to ignore his question since he did the same earlier.
Tit for tat *grins*

As I entered the room,a ringtone attracted my attention. I scrawled towards it's direction only to find out HIS mobile phone ringing continually and it showed the caller ID as LOVE.

I was startled by the fact that She didn't got rid of HIM yet. I waited for him to come back but it's been ten minutes and yet HE didn't showed up.

I took his mobile and was about to receive the call when HE came out of nowhere and snatched his mobile quite harshly. I was startled by his sudden appearance and my face flushed with embarrassment.

He grabbed my arm and warned in a stern voice "Don't you dare touch my belongings ever again,got it" I flenched at the audacity in his voice but kinda tried to act COOL and replied,

"Your phone was disturbing my sleep.You better keep your mobile with YOU or it's even better to keep it in a silent mode".

"Don't argue with ME.It's my room and I can do whatever I wish to".

"Really?Well...For your kind information,let me tell you Daddu gave me the Authority to LIVE in this room in my way and THIS room even belongs to ME and...so yeah it's MY Room too" I replied claiming the Truth.

He was speechless now and stamped his feets to his all the way along to his library.

He never came back and I felt myself relaxed since I can sleep at ease now.
The cozy bed was waiting for ME so I didn't let the chance to HURT It's emotions *winks*

I set up the alarm and thanked for his abundant blessings. I dedicated a great thanks to Daadu since I was very grateful to him.

"You asked me to let you handle your own responsibilities as a daughter and you wanna be independent right?So yeah you can work here and handle your duties as a Manager and this way you can stand on your own feet as you desired. I can't appoint you as an employee because your status belongs to that of heirs of this company.You deserve the same as of Aabiya and Ayaan does".

His words enlightened my mood and I smiled internally.I recited the Du'ah (supplication) before sleep could overtook me.

"ALLAHUMMA BISMIKA AMOOTU
WA AHYAA"
(Oh Allah, with your name, I die and
I live)
