Chapter 10

I fell asleep after Scott checked my stomach, I was super sleepy and couldn't keep my eyes open anymore, but I knew Scott was worried since I wasn't healing like I normally would.

I woke up, feeling something with the pack, something's wrong.
I whimpered and got up, walking to the door, I saw Scott and Parrish looking at Lydia. Parrish said" I found her out in the woods... her body was freezing. She was practically hypothermic. But that wasn't even the worst part. It's a badge. A sheriff's badge."
Scott said" No. It's a warning."

We got to the hospital, running in, Well... they were running in, I was walking behind them.
Parrish said" Help! Get someone to help me. Quick." I ran to catch up with Scott," I need help. I've got an 18 year old female, potentially hypothermic." Scott and I got into the elevator, Parrish nodded, Scott nodded. I looked up at Scott as he pulled his jacket over his blood mark, I whimpered, he looked at me and fixed my jacket.
Once we got to the floor, I heard
Stiles say" Two hours ago, he was fine. Now it looks like someone took a baseball bat to his neck."
A doctor said" There could've been some minor internal."
" Did you say, Minor Internal? Since when is anything internal Minor? I need to know what's going on with him, okay? Dr. Geyer, somebody needs to tell me what's happening. Somebody needs to tell me what's happening to him!"
Melissa said" We don't know."
Stiles came in and tackled Scott to the ground, I whimpered and backed away,
Stiles said" Where were you? You trusted him. You believed him. Right, huh? So, where were you?"
" Hey, Hey, hey..."
" Where the hell were you?"
" Stop It!" They pulled Stiles back, and Scott up,
" Okay, Alright, alright."
Scott said" Your dad's not the only one who got hurt."
" Oh, you'll heal."
" I'm not talking about me."
I said" Lydia's really hurt." Stiles looked at me, then looked at Scott.

Parrish said" It could be a side effect of shock."
Stiles said" She's catatonic. It was Theo digging his way through her mind."
Melissa said" Why would he do that? What is he looking for?"
Scott said" The same thing he's always looking for. An advantage."
Parrish said" So what did he gain by trying to kill Stilinski?"
" It left me alone with Liam. Theo wanted to make sure that nobody would stop him from killing me."
Stiles said" Okay, So he gutted my dad as a distraction."
Parrish said" We need to find this kid."
Melissa said" Isn't that a little dangerous? Especially since he almost killed my kid?"
Stiles said" Yeah, But He said he didn't want my dad to die."
Parrish said" And you believed him?"
" He told me where to find him. So, maybe he also knows how to save him."
Melissa said" What do you want to do? Talk to him?"
" If it saves my dad, then yeah."
Scott said" I'll come with you. He doesn't know that I'm alive. Maybe that gives us an advantage."
" He'll know you're there. I just need to talk to him. Not fight him."
Melissa said" Stiles, you can't go alone."
Parrish said" Does anyone even know how to find him?"
Stiles said" We don't have to find him. He'll come to me."

Scott made me hide under Melissa's bed so my scent was covered and Theo couldn't find me. I covered my ears and closed my eyes, then I fell asleep.

I'm woken up by the door, I jumped up and whined, but continued to walk downstairs. I got outside and saw Scott and Stiles, Stiles inside a car and Scott at the door.
Scott said" Stiles?"
Stiles said" Yeah, I can do the rest myself."
" You don't even know where to start. All we know that it's another Chimera."
"Do you even know where you're headed? Come on, let me help. I can find the clues that you can't." Stiles started to drive away but Scott stood in front of the car," You can't do this alone, okay. You need me. You need all of us. I can get more help. I can text Liam."
" Liam just tried to kill you."
" Okay, then at least let me help."
" You believed him?"
" You trusted him, too. Theo got to all of us."
" You know, you don't even know the real story."
" I don't need to. All that matters right now is your dad. Come on, Stiles. We survived an Alpha Pack, a Dark Druid, professional assassins. We could survive Dread Doctors and Chimeras, too."
" We're not looking for a missing Chimera. We're looking for a missing teenager." Stiles let Scott in," Where's May?"
" Maya." I walked to the door and scooted into Scott's lap, avoiding the wound on his stomach.

Once we got to Stiles' and went up to his room, Stiles said" There was a call a few hours ago about a sophomore from Beacon High Who never came home last night."
Scott said" What's his name?"
" Noah Patrick."

We got to the school, and to the boy's locker, Scott broke the lock and opened it. He pulled out a hoodie,
Scott said" Now we can catch his scent." Malia walked up, Scott threw the hoodie to her,
Stiles said" You called her?"
" We need all the help we can get, I should be calling everyone."
Malia said" And I know what this kid looks like."

We got to some place, it was scary, Malia said" He didn't want you to call me, did he?"
Scott said" No. Is it that bad?"
" We kind of broke up, I guess."
" Yeah, we kind of broke up, too. You can tell me what's happening with you. I mean besides Stiles. You can talk to me."
" I said I'd help find this kid and I'm doing it to save Stiles' dad. Don't ask me to talk."
" Well, I'm not asking. I'm offering. I'm just saying it's okay if you want to."
" I know." She walked into some underground thing, and we followed her," I got it. I got his scent." We followed her.
She touched blood, She said" This is Noah's. He was here. I think he's close."
Scott said" Guys... I think we've been down tunnels like this before like when we were looking for Liam, May, and Hayden."
Stiles said" Okay, So what?"
" Maybe, it means that we're closer than we think. Maybe there's something else down here. Something that we haven't found yet."
" Yeah, Nothing That helps my dad. Look, we can't just be standing around here waiting for something to..." someone ran into Stiles and Stiles hit the wall, hard, I growled,
" Stiles." He walked to him, he grabbed Stiles' hand then after a minute, Stiles woke up," You Okay?"
" Yeah, Fine." Malia pinned Noah to the ground,
Noah said" Let me go, please, please. They're coming." Then we heard clanking, I got scared, Malia let Noah go but Stiles pushed him against the wall.
Stiles said" You're not going anywhere."
" I said I don't remember."
" You don't remember anything?"
" No. Not when it happens. Not when I change."
" You clawed my dad half to death, Okay, and now it's poisoning him. You're gonna start remembering every detail right now."
Malia said" Scott, I hear them."
Scott said" Yeah, I do, too. Hey, Stiles, get him out of here. Go to the hospital. Figure out a way to save your dad."
" We're not gonna be able to stop them."
" Yeah, But we can slow them down. Stiles, go." Stiles walked away with Noah, I stood behind Malia and Scott, scared, and my stomach is hurting again. Malia looked at Scott's stomach, then we saw the scary dread doctors," We're gonna be okay."
" Scott, we're gonna die down here."
" No, we're not." I turned around and saw Argent,
" How can you be so sure?"
" Because you're not the only one that I called."
Argent said" Get Down." I got down and covered my face, Argent shot at the Dread Doctors But Nothing worked," Run!" Scott grabbed my arm, pulling me up and running, we ran.
We got to the hospital, Melissa nodded, meaning the sheriff was okay now.
