"Director Hill, this is Agent Variano. There's been something strange in Lab 2B. You should see this. It's an emergency." Maria Hill's earpiece went off. She strode off and quickly reached the desired destination. Agent Variano was pacing the room nervously.
"Something wrong, Agent?", Maria asked. The agent paled and quickly led her to the monitors. There was a strange photo of a base located in a remote area of Russia. "It's a military base, what is there to fear?"
"Ma'am, it's a Hydra military base.", a scientist at another monitor in the room said. Director Hill's eyes hardened and a sour taste filled her mouth, making her grimace. She walked out of the room and Agent Variano followed her.
"Director! Where are you going?" The agent's voice squeaked. Maria turned around.
"Call the Avengers. They're needed once again."
