Chapter 28

Hey guys I thought I won't even give double update today.. But triple update!! Actually I was simply sitting and all of a sudden a nice idea came to me.. So here ya go!!!!

Tarun's pov

He placed an image in front of me.. I picked it up and saw what it was.. It was Divya.. She was naked and on top of him..he was hugging her, he was naked too... I cringed seeing that.. But I don't trust this guy.. He might have just photoshopped this image.. He is very much capable of doing that.

"I don't believe you... I trust my Divya, she would never cheat me like this" I said him

"So much trust is not good Tarun.. Why don't you go and ask her whether I came today to your house or not. We will find out everything then" he said. Yeah.. I'll do that

"I'll do that...I know my Divya will definitely say no." I said him. We were married for over 10 months... And we know each other from 10 years.... She will never betray me

"Yeah ask her yourself" he said. I went into my car and thought a lot

"Don't think so much Tarun" my subconscious voice said me. I went home to her.

"Divya?!" I called out, she came running to me.. She is so innocent! She couldn't have possibly let him come home. She smiled at me first but then saw the picture in my hand. That's when my thoughts started to wonder.. What If she had really let him in? I wouldn't bear her cheating me...

That thought made me angry.

She gasped seeing that and then she saw my hands, they were curled into fists.

"Ta...Tarun you don't believe this na?" she said pointing towards the photo

"It was photoshopped Tarun.. I would never do such a thing to you.. I.." before she could complete I kept my finger on her lips

"Shh...I know.. But Divya, answer my question" I said her

"Yeah ask" she said and stood straightly

"Did Dhruv come to this house today? Did you let him in?" I asked her through gritted teeth

"Tarun listen—" I cut her off

"Answer my damm question, Divya!" I yelled at her to which she flinched

"Did he come or not?" I asked her in a dangerously low tone

"He came Tarun but—" that was enough to break my anger. . I did the thing I never thought I would do

Thap!! I slapped her on her cheek very hardly to which she fell on the ground, she held her cheek where I slapped her

Divya's pov

"I never thought you would betray me like this Divya" he said and left

See properly Tarun.. Is it you who got betrayed or is it me?

My eyes were flooded with tears, I started crying like no tomorrow.

But this weren't the type of tears I got after Anjali's death or when Sujata ma and dad used to torture me or when my mom died.. This were the type of tears I got when Tarun betrayed Me 2 years ago.

I curled into a ball and started crying.. Then I walked over to the God's room

I stood in front of all the gods idols and photos

"I don't believe in your existence anymore" I said

"If you really existed you wouldn't put me through so much pain, why are you doing this to me?! Why are you showing me dreams of heaven and pushing me into hell?!"

"If you had to make me sad again, then why did you give me happiness?! If you had to take Tarun away from me again, why did you show me the bliss of love?! Why did you freaking do this to me?!" I yelled to only find awkward silence.

"I hate love! I hate even the thought of love!" I said and fell on my knees, I sat them up and hugged my knees to my chest and leaned on the wall.

Only one question in my mind

Why?!!!

Hey guys!! Third update!! This chap was sad I know! 😭😭 I was sad writing this also..what do you think? Shouldn't Tarun had given her a chance to explain herself? Why did Dhruv do that? Isn't he Divya's friend?! Well..to all your questions the last 2 chaps of this book are the answers!!
