Taehyung rereads their chat, can't get the feeling out of his system that Jeongguk doesn't care. All his efforts are useless, the idol just doesn't want to open up. Why is that so? Did he do something wrong or does it just not click anymore.

When they had met for the photo shoot, Taehyung had thought they got along really well but maybe he was wrong.

What he doesn't know is that Jeongguk is exhausted, he's tired, didn't mean to sound so careless but it's getting too much.

He calls his manager right after they had ended chatting. Unfortunately there's no way of getting the pictures, the reason of why stays in the open.

Jeongguk calls Taehyung to tell him the bad news and notices that he's disappointed but it isn't his fault, he had tried.

Taehyung thinks otherwise but doesn't voice it out, is now sure that Jeongguk doesn't care about their friendship. That it's only work and to proof the world that he's not gay.

If that's the case, Taehyung will play along, will no longer try to rebuild what they had, doesn't want to bother Jeongguk any longer and will leave him alone after everything is fixed.

Would Jeongguk know about Taehyung's decision he'd try to talk to him, explain him his side but he doesn't know. He's sad that everything is so awkward between them, wishes that they could at least talk normally again. Why is it so difficult to just joke around how they used to do.

The idol takes a deep breath, closes his eyes and sings the new song he has written for the comeback into the microphone in front of him. He feels it, always does and after a few more tries and two hours later it's done.

Maybe he should text Taehyung again, try to be more enthusiastic this time. The dance training isn't going to start within the next hour.

Is it a good idea to write the last part? It took him a few minutes to send the text but now he feels like this is a mistake so he deletes the sentence again.

He stares at the chat, sees the two blue check marks showing up. That was close, he had done it just in time but an answer doesn't come from the older.

"Guk?" Someone is calling his name, he looks up from his phone and locks it.

"Oh hi Yoongi Hyung, what are you doing here?" His friend's label isn't even close to his and they barely meet here.

"I have an appointment with your manager, don't ask me why because I don't know the reason too." The older shows the messages, it's suspicious but Jeongguk shrugs it off.

"Min Yoongi?"

His manager's voice sounds behind him so he turns around. "Hyung, why are you meeting with Yoongi? Do I need to attend too?"

"No, it's only between him and me." He nods towards the rapper who nods back. "Follow me please and you-" he points to Jeongguk "-have dance practice now, shouldn't you be on the way already?"

Jeongguk looks at the time on his phone and curses. "Fuck. Bye Yoongi Hyung, be nice to him Manager-nim." He winks to the latter and runs away.

Taehyung is bored, has nothing to do because the CEO isn't present today so there are only a few calls he has to answer but that's it, what a shitty day.

He saw Jeongguk's message a while ago but it's long forgotten now, has received it while he was talking to Seokjin and of course he couldn't answer. How does he think he is to order him around? What if he's not free on Saturday huh? I mean he is but that's beside the point.

Does Taehyung feel bad for ignoring him? -Yes, but does he regret it? -A clear no, Jeongguk has started it, Taehyung is only joining the game.
