Hey hey, I'm back with a fic just in time for Halloween, unfortunately, because of my timezone, this will probably be a day early for a lot of you.

Please keep in mind that I don't watch scary movies so they are probably awfully written, make no sense and are uninteresting but hey at least I tried.

This fic was inspired by the skeleton cookies I made for Halloween.

Happy Halloween, enjoy :)

Lloyd looked down at his phone, disappointed, to say the least at the text his mum had sent him,

"I won't be able to watch the movies tonight cause the boss has me working a double shift if you want to you can invite a friend over, I'll be home at around ten or eleven o'clock, I love you xx"

He wanted to complain but there was no point, he sent an affirming message and an 'I love you' back before placing his phone in his pocket and deciding to trek upstairs to your apartment.

He wasn't going to spend Halloween evening on his own.

I was icing the very last batch of cookies when I heard a knock on my front door, I placed the bag of white icing down, wiping my flour-covered hands on my apron, behind the door was Lloyd Garmadon,

"Hey," He said with a small wave,

"Hi, what's up?" I ask as I open the door wider allowing him room to come in, he smiles and waltz into the kitchen,

"Not much, I was just wondering if you wanted to watch some scary movies together?" He asked simply and then marvelling over how many cookies I had made, "What happened here?" He chuckled

"I was in the middle of a Halloween tradition and I'd love to watch some scary movies with you," I reply to both questions with a smile, "Just let me finish icing these little guys and clean up and we'll go," I say picking the icing bag back up as I continued icing the cookies,

"What can you tell me about this tradition?" Lloyd questioned, sitting down across from me and watching my careful movements, I smiled up at him as I spoke,

"Well every year for Halloween I make these special cookies," I said pointing down at the array of yellow sugary morsels, "I use a special 3D cookie cutter so I can imprint the shape of a skeleton on to the cookies," I continue as I hold up the cookie cutter and a unfrosted gingerbread man shaped cookie, I put the treat down and start to fill the compression with white icing,

"How long have you been making these cookies?" Lloyd asked picking up one of the finished treats and biting off its head his eyes widening suddenly making me laugh,

"How long as in how long I've spent today or how long I've done this tradition?" I asked through my fit of giggles, quirking an eyebrow as he scoffed down the arms of the skeleton,

"Both!" He said loudly his voice muffled by the food in his mouth, I shoved him calling out a "gross" as he stumbled back a little although his strength from training as a ninja kept him grounded,

"I started the tradition of making Halloween cookies when I was eleven, we were doing a spooky shared lunch and I made these and everyone loved them so much I kept making more so now it's a tradition," I explained, smacking Lloyd's hand as he reached for another cookie, I looked at the clock, Three p.m. "And I've been making cookies since twelve p.m. So about three hours," I finished as I started putting the cookies into boxes, one labelled family, another labelled school, the last labelled friends and a plate so that we could eat some during the movie.
