Looking after a little friend

So we're looking after a hedgehog that we found yesterday.

She (we currently think it's a she we haven't been able to check yet) was tangled up in some netting my mum had put up over the vegetable garden to keep the cats out of it, we called hedgehog rescue center and the lady there got back to us and said that she had 49 hedgehogs at the current time and she couldn't take anymore.
She's just under 250g and she needs to be 800g before we can release her.
We think that she got abandoned by her mum because she's only a baby.
It was so sad guys I honestly thought she was going to die, she had the netting wrapped around her neck about 3 times and it was all stuck to her.

I got her eating by putting some cat food on a tooth pick and waving it near her nose and have found that hedgehogs are really noisy eaters.

So now for the next couple of weeks we have a new addition to the family, we've reluctantly named her Tiggy. Not because we didn't like the name but because of the human mindset of once you name it you become attached.

I'm gonna work on some stuff today before I go back to school tomorrow.
