At Camp Half-Blood, you're used to danger and the possibility of being attacked. However, you weren't expecting it the day it actually happened.

It had actually started out as an ordinary day, ordinarily enough for a place like Camp Half-Blood. Everyone had had breakfast, and was getting around to their daily activities. The demon somehow got into camp and staring attacking.

"What is that?" you ask Percy. "How did it even get in here?"

"I don't know," he says, "But I'm going after it. Stay here, and stay down."

You watch Percy go after the demon with his sword, wondering if he can actually take it out by himself.

You usually carry your bow and arrows with you, just in case of anything, so you get down and pull them out to see if you can get a shot at the demon. You hold onto your weapon carefully, watching Percy as he takes a few swings at the demon. You have to restrain yourself from gasping out loud when the demon knocks Percy to the ground.

The moment you have a clear shot of the demon's chest, you fire your arrow. The demon shrieks and staggers backwards. You shoot a second arrow, and it soon collapses to the ground. You've killed it.

Percy is already being helped up off the ground and checked for any wounds. But you catch his eye and give him a nod.

You decide it would probably be best to hang back until all the commotion dies down, and then go check on him.

That afternoon, you track down Percy and ask him, "Are you okay? You weren't hurt badly, were you?"

He shrugs. "Nothing I won't get over. Yeah, I'll be fine. So, where have you been? I told everyone about how you slayed the beast. I think they're all waiting to congratulate you and hear about your heroic deeds."

"I thought maybe I should wait until all of the excitement died down," you say. "But I'm you're okay."

"Well, I might not have been okay if it wasn't for you," he says. "I really have you to thank for today, Y/N. I could have been hurt a lot worse than I was. You know, the dangers of being a demigod."

You smile. "You're welcome, of course. I'm glad you're okay. Did everyone really want to hear about how I killed the demon?"

"Of course everyone wants to hear about it." Percy takes you by the hand. "Let's go find our friends and let them hear about your acts of heroism."

You nod, and go with Percy to find your fellow campers.
