New Story Idea....

Hi, guys!  I have a question: would you be interested in an original story?  Alright, just hear me out.

I want to do something that has been my closest to an actual novel.  A fully fledged book, with an "original" plot line, no Dark, Anti, Mark, or Jack.  It's all my characters, my setting, and my story.

I've been wanting to do this for a while now, but I won't do it unless people want me to.  Well, I won't do it now, at least.  Maybe I'll ask again in a few years.  But for now, I'm asking.  When I'm done with "Calm Before The Storm", are you all okay with me publishing an actual novel sort of thing?

I have the cover, almost complete.  Here it is:

It's obviously a rough draft, and things will be changed and moved around when I actually publish it (if I actually publish it), but that's the basic pretence of it

It's obviously a rough draft, and things will be changed and moved around when I actually publish it (if I actually publish it), but that's the basic pretence of it.

But, if I'm to publish it, there would be a few pros and cons, obviously.

The cons:
1. It wouldn't be what you are used to as of now.  I will be writing, not fanfictions nor one-shots, but a story that comes from my own heart.  Some people don't want to read that, especially from an account that started off writing simple fanfictions.  You may not like the characters, you may not like where the plot is going.  But I've been wanting to do this for quite a while now, so I hope you can forgive me for that.

2. The updates will be slower.  Because there is no "canon character" from YouTube or anywhere else, I will need time to complete a few things, some of them being, mainly being proper characters and a proper plot line.  Not to mention my school has gotten much busier over the past few weeks, but I am thinking of actually publishing the first chapter a week or two before summer break, so I have time during then to write.

3. Frankly, it just might not be good.  Although some of you people (and I am flattered by this) say that I am good at writing, I am merely in my beginning stages.  I want to write this not only because I think it is a good idea, I want to see where I can take a proper book, and how the end result will turn out.  Therefore, you could call this a test for myself.  How my skills will work up to.  Which means that there will be mistakes.  I'm not perfect.  I get writer's block, I make up excuses, and my schedule often changes.  There is a high chance, let me repeat, high chance, of this being one of my worse stories.  All I can do is try my best, and I deeply apologize if the plot line is just not for you.

The pros:
1. As I said before, this will be a good testing ground for me.  Fanfictions, anyone can do, no matter if they are good or bad, or somewhere in between (like mine, for example).  Fanfictions, although I'm not saying are for amateurs, can easily be written.  Characters are real and something people already know about, settings are inferred based on the person.  Plot lines can be tricky at times, admittedly, but all you have to do is make up a scenario and flow with it.  Again, I'm not saying those are easy to write.  I am simply stating that although fanfictions are amazing and very fun to write and play out, I don't want to do them forever.  I get bored easily.  And I think that's what is happening right now.

2. You will see a different side of my writing. I do not have one style. I can make it very casual, or turn a piece of writing into something close of an essay. You will be able to see how I write, and although it might not necessarily be good, I'm running out of pros.

3. It might actually be good. It's a fifty-fifty chance, if you're thinking about it. It can either go really badly, or somewhat well. Obviously I will be no modern Shakespeare, but I will try my best.

So, if you're up for it, let me know! If I get more yea's than nay's, I will be publishing the first chapter as soon as I finish everything I need to, and also get something... from you.

What, you may ask? Well, look at the cover. Do you see what it says right above my name? That's right. "Edited by: _______". You know what that means. Someone is going to have to edit my stories. After all, I have things to do. Not that I'm saying you don't as well, it's just that... well, I'm the one doing the writing. You're just reading through and making sure I got everything right.

If you're interested, DM me. If I have more than one person interested in helping me out, then we can work something out. It's just a small thing, really. I write it and skim through it after I'm finished anyhow, but not thoroughly.

If you aren't interested but know people that might be, just tell them.

I promise, I'll make it fun.  And if you want to stop, then just let me know.  No hard feelings, no strings attached.  In other words, if you split, I'm cool.

And of course, just because the prequel is done doesn't mean I will stop the one-shot book. That will still be updated, but maybe less frequently. That's all.

And I know, I have a whole other backlog of stories that I have to write, mostly one-shots that people asked to be actual stories. I want to do those later. Push them aside, if that's alright with you. Because, and here's my logic: This is my first proper story. This will help me get better in writing. I get better in writing while doing something I've wanted to do for a while, then I can come back afterwards and do those. Just because I'm writing a novel doesn't mean I'm done with fanfictions.

As I said before, I'm just getting started.

Anyways, that's just if people are interested in the whole idea.  I'm probably getting way ahead of myself, but I like daydreaming.  So, yeah.  Thanks for reading this randomness.
