Kai's p.o.v
Eve andwoke up , so I brought up some food for her to eat. She cracked her ribs and can't walk from the pain. I helped her sit up to eat the soup that Alec's Domestic kindly made me. I propped up some pillows to support her back. I held up a spoon full of the warm soup to her and she smiled
"You havedon't have to feed me, I'm okay" she said a looking at me with her colorful doey eyes
" But this way makes you smile, now open up" I said , she rolled her eyes and took a gulp of the steamy meal. After a few spoonfulsh she took the spoon and fed herself, still laughing from me caring for her so much.
I lay beside her as she finished up her meal. I looked at every inch of her, from head to toe she is perfect. Her hair hung down in it's wildly wavy perfection. Her freckles spaced across her sweet button nose clashing with her rosey cheeks. Her eyes, god her eyes are the most beautiful things a human could ever look upon, them gleaming in the sun that glowed brightly onto her smooth pale skin. She turn to me, noticing me staring
"What?" She asked with a small shy giggle
"Nothing, it just ... You're beautiful" I said, I watched her turn red and look away from me in embarrassment.
"You don't have to lie" she said quietly
"w would I lie about something so true?" I said confused
"Because everyone else says I'm disgusting and diseased and-"
"They are just jealous that you're the more beautiful then a Tantibus like them" I interrupted her absurdity
"Eve, you are my goddess. I worship you don't let anyone tell you different" I said lightly turning her head, she was blushing sweetly
"And it they do I'll kill them for disobeying a god" I continuede as a smirk on escaped my lips, she smiled and laughed under a short breath. I picked her on the nose and sat back up.
"When was the last time you could relax in a nice warm bath?" I asked, thinking that she'd like some time to relax in warm bath, letting her body and mind relax as she washing her worries away.
"I've never took a bath, only had a small tub of water to wash my body and hair" she said looking down
I got up and walked to the other side of the large bed and picked her up
"Would you like to have one now?" I said , she sweely nodded and I walked her in to bathe room. I ran the water the warm, waiting for the tub to fill, I helped her get her blouse off carefully. I laid soaps and oils beside her and walked out letting her have privacy.
I picked a book out of my shelves and read as I waited for my angle to come out.
Eve's p.o.v.
I laid into the warm water contained in a golden tub. I felt like I shouldn't be in this but Kai insisted that I have some time to unwind from how rough my life has been. I popped some of the large bubbles of the layer of foam like bubbles. The sweet smell of lavender filled my senses as I sink into the steaming water.
I washed my hair and body when I felt like I was going to have my body prune up.
Kai left a night gown for me that belonged to Scarlet. I walked out brushing my wet hair with a brush that was played with Sterling silver.
"May I?" He asked reaching for the brush
I smiled and handed him the heavy brush. I sat next to him on the velvet couch admiring the hard book with gold writing spelling "the Love story of Hades and Persephone". Kai lightly brushed my clean messy hair, I stared at the title intrigued by the beautiful names.
"Kai?" I asked
"Yes my dear?" He answered in a calmed voice As he glidded the brush through my hair
"Who's pers-a-phone and ha-des?" I asked trying to pronounce the intricate name
"You mean Persephone and Hades?" He asked saying the names differently lightly laughed at my mistake
"Yes" I answered
"Well my little one, it's an old tale of a lonely king of the underworld longing for someone to love, he meets a spring nypth and they fall in a forbbiden love" he said brushing thought the last small knit.
"forbbiden? " I asked confused
"They were from two different worlds, literally" he answered. Kai stretched and I turned to meet eyes
"Let's get you back in bed to lay and relax your wounds" he said, he bent down to pick me up and I let him from being relaxed from the warm bath. He laid me on the bed and picked another book out. When he settled, I was pulled back into his comforting embrace as he continued the story of" beauty and the beast". The book that always seems to lul me to a peaceful state of mind.
