Chapter 3: The New Team

Days have passed by, you have been running and chasing the white masked people throughout the city but only getting dead ends. Figuring it was time to take a break from chasing shadows. You were currently in the forest thinking for your next course of action.

(Y/n): *sigh* where must I go now, I've chased many of the white masked people but no leads to Roman.

You sit on a fallen tree and take off your mask to examine it. On it were several cuts and splotches of blood from your fights with the white masked people. You sigh and put your mask back on.

(Y/n): I'll take a break until I can find a lead on them I need the rest.

You lay on the tree and begin to meditate, finally getting a break from the constant anger. " it's good to let the anger out but don't let it drive you". These words ring out in your head, it was something your father told you during your training.

(Y/n): maybe that's what I've been doing wrong, I've been so focused on revenge I haven't had the time to question what I am looking for.

You try to think more but it is interrupted by the sounds of screams. You look up to the sky's to see people falling from it.

(Y/n): the hell?

You try to make an conclusion to what you are seeing but certain smell stop you from doing that.

(Y/n): RED!

You began tracking her fearing for her safety as this part of the forest had several enemy clan members in it that she surly wouldn't be able to handle on her own. Racing through the forest you could swear if anything saw you, you would bust be a blur. You stopped behind a tree as you saw red making sure she didn't see you. She was with a couple of other people talking and one yellow haired girl hugged her.

An orange haired girl went to the group riding on a enemy? She must be extremely tough to do that. But you thoughts were interrupted as you heard a girl screaming from atop of a wild enemy with a stinger.

???: WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME?

Red: I said jump!

Red began having a conversation with another person while you saw the pail girl fall off the creature.

She needed help otherwise she will get stabbed by that animal you thought to yourself.

Using your super speed you jumped from tree to tree finally catching her in your arms. You land next to red and heard a loud thud. You turn and saw a blond haired boy groaning in pain on the floor

???: my back!

You looked at the girl in your arms and she looked at you with a frightened face, probably because of your mask. You set her down and pulled the blond haired boy to his feet you could feel the stares the people behind you were giving you. You turned to face them.

Red: pyro?

(Y/n): red.

You nodded to her.

???: well great now we can all die together.

You you turned to the sky and saw a flying beast. In the process of this someone said run for the hill. You followed them you had to protect them but you don't know why. The stinging beast was gaining on your group and the winged beast was ahead of you. You think red told some to fight the winged beast while some help her kill the death stalker? Well anyways your thoughts were right as they begin fight the creatures, you help in fighting the winged beast sense it was faster and tougher then the stinger. In the mist of fighting you saw red get knocked over and the stinger prepared to strike down on her. You ran in front of her and felt the stinger pierce through your chest you were facing red as she was looking up at you, time slowed down for the both of you she was looking at you with tears forming in her eyes. You looked down at her and you were mad. Mad that this creature could hurt such smaller and weaker creatures without care. Ignoring your fathers words you were full of rage and you won't stop until the beast were dead.
