Narrators point of view
At three am the next morning Joy prys herself from her loving brothers arms and kisses his forehead.
She goes to her room and grabs her bags and a bad of candies. Something Joy has always done is leave kisses for everyone. Hershey kisses and she decided to put a bad outside of everyones door with a note saying how they were kisses from her for while she was gone.
She leaves them at everyones door and finds her mom and dad downstairs.
They drive to the airport meeting Carrie there.
"Flight 424 to Austin Texas is now boarding first class"
That was her, she was leaving.
She says goodbye to her parents as they cry and watch as there daughter goes off by herself making a career for herself.
They were proud of all there children.
As joy boards the plane she looks out her window and sees her parents waving and she waves back.
One tear slips out of her eye as the plane drives down the run way.
Away from her parents,
Away from her family,
Away from her life
To start a new one.
