SEOL HAEUN woke up, holding onto her heart as she took heavy breaths. Her head was pounding and her vision was blurry, the sound of wheels squeaking against the floors made her feel irritated for no reason. She felt sick and dazed - confused even - as she sat up and had her eyes adjust to the white lights.

"Where am I?", she mumbled to no one, looking around the small room she was in. A white curtain with black and white trimming was around her little nook, her back aching from the uncomfortable mattress underneath her body. She could her muffled voices from outside of it, some of the sunlight filtering through the thin fabric. The curtain suddenly opened, revealing a man with a clipboard in his hands with glasses perching on the bridge of his nose.

"Good morning, I'm Doctor Yoon Jisung. Are you feeling better?", he asked, smiling softly at Haeun. She nodded slowly, looking up at the handsome man with knitted brows. He was quite a young and tall man with gentle features and a striking nose.
"That's good", he breathed out a sigh of relief. "Would you like anything to eat or drink?"

"No thank you", Haeun replied weakly, her voice hoarse. Jisung frowned, shaking his head.
"Nonsense, I'm going to get you some tea. I'll be back shortly", he said, walking away from her and closed up the curtain before fetching the girl her drink. He came back a few minutes later with a small cup of chamomile tea, handing it to her graciously.

"Thank you", Haeun smiled softly, blowing on the drink before taking a sip of it.

"Miss Seol, you have two guests coming to see you", a very pretty nurse peeked through the curtains, her hair tied in a loose ponytail and smiled gently. Two people came from behind the nurse, one running over to Haeun and gave her a bone crushing hug as soon as she laid eyes on her.

"You stupid girl...How dare you make your old grandma worry?", Ms. Seol cried, holding onto the last remaining memories of her son tightly.
"I'm so sorry for making you worry, grandma", Haeun apologized weakly, wrapping her arms around the old woman's shoulders

"Hey, don't you understand how worried I was?", Daniel accused, pointing a finger at the girl with red and slightly puffy eyes. He ran up to her, putting both hands on her shoulders and looked into her eyes. "Were you crying?"

Haeun met his eyes with confusion, her eyebrows knitted together as she felt the tear run down her cheek. Squishing her eyebrows together, she tried to think about why she was crying.

Crash. Sirens. Blood.

"Kenta", she gasped, bolting out of her bed and ran over to Jisung. "Mr. Yoon, do you know about the patient that came in yesterday?  H-He was very bloody and was caught in that awful car accident? His name is Takada Kenta", Haeun questioned quickly, looking into his eyes with desperation.

"Of course I do - I was the man who preformed surgery on him"
"Is he okay? Where is his room? Can I see him?", she asked, trying to restrain herself from acting too crazy.
"Miss Seol, unless you are related to him in any way we can't show you his current state. I'm sorry, but it's policy", Jisung replied, a soft sigh leaving his lips as he met her eyes.
"Please, let me see him", Haeun pleaded, clasping her hands together as she bowed her head in front of him. "Please? I'm begging you"

"Haeun, get up. We should go", her grandmother whispered quietly, urging her granddaughter to stop making a scene.

"Please Dr. Yoon, please...He saved my life. It's my fault he got hurt a-and I need to make sure he's okay. He's the reason why I'm alive", she confessed, a tear slipping her eye as she looked into his eyes. Jisung huffed out, looking both directions before saying,

"I'll lead you to his room, but just don't be too loud. I don't wanna get fired"

Doctor Yoon quietly escorted the group into the elevator, exiting out of the fifth floor before leading them through a hallway lined with doors. He soon stopped in front of room '101', gesturing towards the small group. "This is Mr. Takada's room, but please be careful to not touch the equipment near or on the patient. I will be waiting here until you leave"
