I walked out and Jonah was on his phone, Esther was sitting on the chair in the corner of his room. Once they saw me they looked up from their phones. Esther ran over to me and hugged me
Esther- I'm so sorry you had to go through that Aria- It's ok Esther- It must have been so hard to hear that everyday, and go through that Esther- That can really break a person Aria- They won't break me, i'm already broken Esther- Don't say that Aria- I wish it wasn't true, I want to be normal
Jonah stood up and hugged both of us. We stayed hugging each other for a few minuets
Aria- *Yawn* Jonah- Are you tired?
I nodded my head trying not to let my eyes close
Jonah- Come with me
He led me down the hall to the guest room
Jonah- This is where you are sleeping, you know where my bedroom is if you need me Aria- Ok
He went to walk away but I hugged him
Aria- Thank you for everything Jonah Jonah- You don't have to thank me Aria- Yeah I do, If you had listened to me then I would be getting raped right now Jonah- Shh don't bring it up, You are safe now
He hugged me tight and kissed my head before walking back to his room. I laid down and closed my eyes. I tried to fall asleep but it wasn't working. I kept tossing and turning the whole night. I sat up and started to think. If it wasn't for this boy who cared so much, I would be getting raped again. I started to cry. I needed to be somewhere safe, with my dad and his guys not in jail, i'm not safe. I stood up and walked out of my room in to the dark hallway. I walked down the hall to Jonah's room. I slightly knocked on the door and cracked it open. I could tell Jonah had just woken up. He sat up and looked at me.
Jonah- Hey Aria, what's wrong? Aria- I can't sleep Jonah- Come here
I opened the door and walked in, closing it behind me. I walked over to him.
Jonah- Do you want to sleep here?
I nodded and he moved the blanket so I could lay next to him. I laid down and he wrapped his arms around me.
Jonah- Just remember you are safe
It has been a few hours and i'm still not asleep. I think I woke Jonah up cause I accidentally sighed really loudly
Jonah- Aria? Jonah- Are you still awake? Aria- Y-Yeah Jonah- Hey, Look at me
I turned my body to face him. He started to run his fingers through my hair.
