Tiredly, my eyes fluttered open as the shrill screech of my alarm woke me up. Stretching my body, I slipped out of bed and headed towards the ensuite. I was not going anywhere without a bath.

Turning the taps of the bathtub on, I undressed swiftly and jumped into the warm abyss. The water was like a personal masseuse, relieving my muscles and taking away my thoughts from yesterday.

Around me, bottles of shampoos, conditioners, soap and bath salts called out to me. Eagerly, I squirted shampoo onto my palm before running it through my blonde strands. Next was conditioner, followed by the rest of the essentials.

Stepping out of the bath, I wrapped a smooth purple towel around my body and hair. After drying my wet skin, I lathered myself in cocoa butter, adoring the heavenly scent.

I scampered into the bedroom and pulled on a long shirt that belonged to Zander. My heart clenched as the memories of our argument arisen. Was I too harsh? Was I really the jealous one?

Sighing, I seated myself in front of my body length mirror on the carpeted floor. My makeup bag was in front of me. If Zander wanted to suck up to Rennie I would have to show him what he was missing.

Taking out my foundation, I applied it to my skin, leaving my base clear and dewy. Grinning at my new complexion, I applied the rest - bronzer, brow gel, a neutral brown eyeshadow with glossy, pink lips and highlighter for the perfect glow.

I scrunched my hair slightly with a towel to get rid of excess water, then switched on the blowdryer. In minutes my hair was bone dry and fell in natural, loose waves.

Standing up, I observed my look in the mirror. Zander's shirt went to mid thigh and was black, covering everything beneath. My golden locks fell to my waist, shining in natural light.

Listening with my heightened hearing, I heard a clattering sound from somewhere in the house, but everything else was eerily silent. I racked my brains for where the pack could be when I remembered that the annual trip to the beach was today. I had declined the offer months back hoping to get a chance to have some time with Zander alone. What a great idea that was.

Would he have stayed behind?

I walked out of the room and strutted down the stairs, heading in the direction of noise. Soon I found myself at the doorway of the kitchen, observing Zander attempting to cook whilst an Rennie watched over him intently. That bitch couldn't stay away for five minutes.

Sauntering into the kitchen, I ignored their stares completely. Zander's gaze was burning through my back. His shirt rose up my thighs slightly as I reached into a cupboard for a glass, provoking a low growl to rumble through his chest.

"Pardon you." I said sweetly. Heading towards the fridge for some chocolate milkshake, I added a little swing to my hips.

Pouring it into the glass I heard murmurs behind me before they stopped completely. It was silent. They had left. Good. I couldn't stand being in the same room as Rennie for another second. Her mere presence annoyed me.

Whilst screwing the lid back onto the bottle, hands slid around my waist. My body was pulled back into a warm, muscular one. I froze.

"I'm sorry." Zander whispered into my ear, placing a kiss on my mark.

"I don't care." I responded, pulling out of his embrace and grabbing my milshake, strolling into the living room. Sitting down in front of one of the huge TVs, I flicked it on and searched for Queer Eye.

The sofa slumped next to me and I knew it was Zander without looking. "Uh, not this again." He groaned, leaning closer to me slightly.

"Go away." I said, watching the TV screen intently.
