Three

I wake up to someone shaking me and my name being yelled
"Miley!!" My eyes shoot open and I inhale deeply
"Oh thank god" I see Kate, Will, Joe, Grandma and Harry around me, Harry the closest, they all look worried

"What happened?" I ask, still waking myself up
"You were screaming and crying" Harry says then I remember, my nightmare, my memory
"I'm sorry I woke you guys" I say shaking my head and grandma comes closer
"Sweetheart, what was it?" She asks, I sit up
"The crash" I say, they stay quiet, they don't know what to say, they can't say it was just a dream because it wasn't. It was real and forever in my memory whether we like it or not.

"Get some sleep, its 5AM" Will says, I nod as they all leave my room, Joe last giving me a sad smile before closing the door. I sigh as I stay sitting up staring at the big portrait across the room, it's my parents, Jack and I a year before the crash on the 20th wedding anniversary of my parents.

I look away, towards my window, I get up walking towards it and open the curtains to see the sun is rising. I see morning tourist outside the gates, getting down and on the big red busses, I lean against the wall as I stare out the window, my eyes travel towards an alley, where I see a hooded figure making me squint my eyes to try and see what, or who it is but the person disappears after a big red bus drives by.

I shrug it off and go to my bathroom, I look at myself in the mirror and brush my hair, I decide to take a bubble bath today so I turn to the tub and get it ready. After the bubbles are in I plug in my phone and the voice of Bruno Mars fills the room as I slide in the tub after stripping down. I relax in the tub lightly singing along with Bruno and playing with the bubbles. After what feels like days and many songs later I step out drying myself then wrapping my robe around me.

I towel dry my hair as I walk back into my room to see my bed is made and the other curtains are open letting sunlight in. I go to my closet and slip on underwear and bra then some shorts and a button up shirt, I put on my sandals and I get my phone then walk downstairs to the kitchen to see nobody here, I go to the fridge and get a yogurt then walk out to see Kate

"Kate" I say and she turns around
"Good, your up, it's time for us to get pampered" She says smiling then leads me to a car, Joe driving and two other guards following
"And we're done" The make up/hairstylists says as she steps back from my face
"Oh god. Miley you look beautiful" Kate says as I face her and I giggle
"I haven't even put the dress on" I say and she shrugs
"Still beautiful" She says, I roll my eyes as she takes my place on the chair. I see it's almost noon, the ball starts at 6pm, I get my phone and text Dani as they paint my toe nails.

It's 6pm, I'm in my dress walking down the hall to the stairs that lead to the ball room. Rocket is by my side but sadly he can't come into the ball room.
"Ok boy, go out to the garden for the rest of the night. I'll meet you there" I say as he sniffs my dress, Rocket isn't just my baby but my guard dog, he always sniffs me so he has my scent.

He then runs off as I stand straight, I move my hair over my right shoulder, my hair is short but I have extensions on right now so its long. I take a deep breathe then walk towards the stair case and I see the ball room is almost full, a lot of people already have their masks on so I put my white mask on then walk down the steps as some heads turn my way.

Harry comes and offers his hand as I take my last step down
"You look very pretty" He says, I smile
"Thank you" I say then I see him reach in his pocket for something
"William, Kate, grandma, Joe and I got you something, turn around" He says, I do as told then feel him place something around my neck. I look down to see a heart shaped locket then open it to see a picture of my parents on one side then Jack and I on the other.
"Thank you so much" I say and hug him
"Your welcome" He says then music starts
"Can I have this dance?" He asks, I smile at my uncle
"Of course" I say with a curtsy, we go to the dance floor and start swaying around the other people dancing

"May I?" I see a guy tap on Harry's shoulder
"Of course" He says then walks off as the guy takes me and we start dancing
"You look pretty" He says, I recognize the voice, Bryan
"Thank you. Where's Dani?" I ask
"Over there" He says nodding his head towards the curly haired girl dancing with a random guy
"Of course" I say, we laugh then the song ends and people clap as the orchestra get ready for another song.

I walk off the dance floor with Bryan and to the royals table where my grandma, uncles, Kate, and others are seated.
"Miley, who is this?" Grandma asks, I smile
"This is one of my best friends" I say, Bryan steps forward
"My names Bryan your majesty" He says and bows, in respect making my grandma smile
"Nice to meet you Bryan" She says then I feel arms around my neck
"You look stunning my lovely" I recognize as Dani's voice says, I turn around and we hug properly
"You look amazing" I say as we pull away
"And this?" Grandma asks, I face her
"My other best friend" I say smiling
"My names Danielle, but just call me Dani your majesty" Dani says and curtsies
"Well, I hope you three have fun" She says, we walk off to the table full of goodies, I get a cupcake and take a bite

"What shall we do?" Dani asks, I shrug
"I usually stay for 30 minutes then go change and walk around the garden" I say, they shake their heads
"Excuse me" I turn around to meet hazel eyes under a mask

"Yes?" I answer, a little mesmerized by his eyes
"Would you like to dance princess?" He asks, I look at Dani and Bryan who are both nodding
"Sure" I say, he leads me to the dance floor as the orchestra start a new song, his hand goes on my waist

"Whats your name?" I ask
"Jason" He says, I nod
"How did you know I was the princess?" I ask, he chuckles
"I had an eye on you and seen the royals treat you like family so I went with it" He says, I nod slowly then get a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach.

I then feel something press against me and I look down to see a gun making me gulp
"Don't make me pull the trigger" Jason says, his voice cold, I stay quiet even though I'm scared out of my mind then the thought of dying and being with my parents and brother comes to mind
"Pull it" I say, he locks eyes with me
"What? You think I wont" He says, I shrug
"I don't care. So pull it" I say a bit louder, I can tell he's confused and thinking

"Pull it!" I yell earning a few stares then I see Joe stand up quickly, looking for me, Jason snaps out of it and makes the gun visible to everyone by putting it on my temple
"Nobody move or she dies!" He yells making people gasp and drop to the floor as two other guys come out with big guns aiming it to people after shooting at a near by vase. Joe steps closer, his gun up and Jason sees him
"Stop or she's a goner" He says, Joe stops
"Miley" Joe says, I take my mask off dropping it to the floor
"It's okay Joe" I say, he puts his gun down
"I'm going to walk out of here and nobody will follow or she will die and I will toss her body out of the moving vehicle" Jason says as we start walking backwards

"Miley" Grandma says tears in her eyes and Jason's grip around me tightens
"It's okay grandma, just do as he says" I say then see my uncles stand up
"What do you want?! Let her go and you can take anything" Harry yells making Jason aim at him
"You'll see what I want but I am taking her" He says, Harry jumps over the table then a gun shot goes off and I scream as I see Harry grip his shoulder and fall to the ground

"No!!" I yell trying to fight his grip around me but he's too strong, we end up outside and I am thrown into a van then the tires screech. I silently cry as the 5 guys talk among themselves

"Who are you?" I whisper tears rolling down my cheeks, making them quiet then Jason takes his mask off and I instantly recognize him
"Jason McCann" He says with a small smirk as he sees my shocked expression
