Fifteen

I look up at the full moon resting my chin on my arm that is holding my knees up to my chest, I'm on the roof of the warehouse, alone. I lick my lips and my eyes go from the moon to the stars, they land on the brightest six and I smile as a memory comes to mind.

I lean my head on Jacks shoulder as we look at the night sky
"Miley, let me tell you something" He says, I look at him moving my head
"What?" I ask smiling, he smiles

"You see those bright stars? The brightest ones in the sky?" He asks, I look up and find three nodding
"What about them?" I ask looking back at him
"Those are your most loved ones, when someone you love, like family, passes away, they turn into the brightest star you see" He says, my mouth forms an 'O' shape with my brows raised as I look up to the three bright stars

"So, those must be grandma and pops" I say, he nods
"Remember that, the brightest stars are your loved ones watching over you" He says then kisses my forehead

I look up at the stars
"I miss you" I whisper then smile
"Jack, I wish I could be with you, I really need one of your hugs right now" I say
"Whats so special about his hugs?" I jump and turn around to see Jason
"Fuck you scared me" I say, he chuckles then comes to sit next to me

"So, whats so special about your brothers hugs?" He asks again, I sigh
"They were warm and made me feel safe, I loved how our height was because then I could hear his heartbeat and he could rest his head on mine. His hugs were the best hugs" I say, he nods
"We should head back inside and sleep, you've had a long day" He says after a while of silence as I yawn then nod, he stands up and helps me up making me stand super close to him, so close that I could feel him breathing on my forehead

"Thank you" I say, his hand goes from my hand to my waist, my heartbeat speeds up as I look up at him to see he's already looking at me. He starts to lean in, we close our eyes and I could feel his breathe near my lips
"Yo Jason!" Ryan yells making us jump and move away from each other as Ryan walks up here

"Whats up?" Jason asks, I turn my back to them and stare at nothing
"Taner got something" He says
"Okay, I'll be right down" Jason says then footsteps leave and its quiet
"You coming?" Jason asks, I shake my head
"Go ahead" I say then its silent until he starts walking away and down the steps, I rewind what just happened before Ryan showed up, were we really about to kiss? I shake my head

"Stupid stupid stupid" I whisper to myself then turn around and walk to the door and down the stairs, I walk down the halls and then down to the living room to see all the guys surrounding Taner and his computer. I walk to the kitchen and see Sammy eating cookies with milk
"Those look yummy" I say, she looks up at me smiling
"They are ! Jason gave them to me" She says and takes a bite of the cookie she was holding making me giggle as I go sit next to her

"Jason gave them to you?" I ask, she nods rapidly
"He's cute but sshh dont tell Taner I said that" She whispers to me making me let out a small giggle and nod
"I promise, my lips are sealed" I say and act like I zip my mouth shut throwing the key on the table making her let out a laugh
"You're nice, whats your name again?" She asks, I smile
"My names Miley" I say, she nods

"Do you have a secret? I promise I will not tell anyone!" She says, I look around then back at her and nod
"I do have a secret, can I trust you wont tell?" I ask, she nods rapidly leaning closer
"I think I'm starting to crush on Jason" I whisper, her eyes widen
"No way! Oh my god! You two look cute!" She squeals then she hands me a cookie

"Have a cookie" She says smiling, I take it then we both look at each other smiling and bite our cookies as the guys walk in
"Seems to me like these two ladies are bonding" Taner says, Sammy grins
"Taner, she's super nice! She's keeping a secret I told her a secret and I'm keeping hers too!" She says, I smile taking a bite of my cookie

"Oh really? What are these secrets?" Jason asks, her eyes widen
"I cant tell you! Its a secret!" She yells and I giggle
"Miley, mind telling us?" Taner asks, I shake my head biting my cookie
"Sorry boys, its girl code" I say then look at Sammy

"Dont tell anyone" I say, she nods then sticks her pinky out
"Pinky promise" She says, I smile and wrap my pinky with hers
"Fuck man, thats solid" Za whispers looking at our pinkies and I stand up finishing my cookie
"Well, I'm going to sleep, good night guys and princess" I say then send a wink to Sammy and she throws a thumbs up at me as I walk up the stairs and to Jason's room.

I change into shorts and a tank top then I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth, I hear the door open as I spit into the sink and wash my face
"So, whats the secret?" I hear Jason ask and I cant help but smile
"None of your business" I say walking out to see him light a cigarette by the window
"C'mon tell me" He says, I shake my head getting under the covers
"Sorry Jason, I pinky promised" I say, he sighs turning towards the window, I cant help but stare at how the smile comes out of his lips, his jawline looks perfect and his now messy hair looks....sexy.

I sit up and stand up making him look at me surprised.
"Where are you going?" He asks
"Water" I say, he nods, not buying my lie, I walk out then down the stairs to see everyone is in their rooms. I left the room because I had the urge to go up to Jason and...kiss him...I had to leave the room.

I sigh and sit on the couch, I spread my legs on the couch and before I know it my head is on a pillow and I fall asleep on the couch. Forgetting that Jason must be wondering why I'm taking forever getting 'water'.
