Twenty-Two

It's been three days since Jason and mines first date, the guys are all teasing and joking because Jason is always bringing me close to him when Taner is close, I don't mind it one bit, I like being close to him. Sammy is liking the idea of Jason and I being, together forever, as she likes to say.

The problem is, I'm a missing princess and he's my kidnapper, this will be hard for us to keep a relationship when I go back. I snap out of my thoughts as the person on TV says my name, I see its that Kevin and Karen news reporter people again so I turn it up.

"Princess Miley's family members seem to be holding up better after a month, but Kate and Harry are still not all the way themselves as people would put it" Kevin says, I bring one leg up onto the couch
"Yes that is correct, sources say William and the Queen are back to their old routines as for Kate and Harry, well they are still ignoring questions on the missing princess and looking even more tired as time passes" Karen says as images of Harry and Kate show then Will and grandma, I shut the TV off and my head turns to Jason's untraceable phone on the counter.

I bite my lip and shake my head to myself
"No, I shouldn't" I whisper but my brain has other ideas so I get the phone and before I could blink I punch in the number and it rings
"Hello" I recognize the voice as Joe
"Joe" I say, I hear his breathe stop for a second
"Miley?" He whispers, I look down at my hand
"Yes, it's me" I say and look at the door biting my lip
"W-where are you? Oh goodness, we miss you so much" He says, I snort
"Sure yall do, I just seen the news and the only ones that seem to miss me are Harry and Kate" I say

"Miley, I miss you, I really do. So does Rocket, he is the only reason I'm still in the palace, for you because you and I both know nobody else would watch over him" He says, I sigh
"I know, thank you" I say
"Miley, your grandma and Will miss you as well" He says, I scoff
"Sure they do, they seem perfectly fine to me" I say making him sigh

"They are planning on your rescue in a couple weeks, your grandma has made her final decision" He says, I look away from the door and stand up
"Which is?" I ask pacing
"To negotiate their freedom" He says, I crack a smile
"Really? No joke?" I ask, he chuckles
"No joke, she says thats the best choice but everyone else doesn't like it" He says, I cant help but smile at that

"You're sure they aren't planning anything?" I ask
"I'm sure" He says but I have a feeling he's lying
"I have to go bye" I say and hang up as footsteps come up the stairs

"Miley?" Jason's head pops through the half open door and I bite my lip
"Jason" I say, he walks in with confused eyes
"Whats up?" He asks coming in front of me
"I called Joe, my personal body guard, more like an uncle" I say handing him his phone
"Why?" He asks, I sigh
"Dont get mad, I didn't say anything but I did find out something" I say, he nods
"Okay, what is it?" He asks

"My grandma has made her decision, to negotiate your guys freedom" I say, he smiles
"Really?" He asks, I nod
"But something smells fishy to me, I asked Joe if that was all they were planning but he sounded like he was lying to me, Jason when that day comes please for the love of god be careful" I say, he nods holding my hands

"I promise, we will be careful if they try to play us, thats what we've been working on the last couple days, a plan for the worst" He says, I nod
"Okay, but I'm just scared I wont ever see you or them ever again" I say, he pecks my lips
"Everything's going to be okay, we still got three weeks and a half" He says, I nod as he hugs me

"Promise me no matter what happens in these three weeks, we'll see each other again" I say, he nods
"I promise" He says and tightens his grip around me
