Clove, Katniss, Foxface and Rue

Clove 7 (Chapter 23)

Cato looks into my eyes.

“I'm glad I found you" He says. “You would never run away."

“Yeah." I lie. “I was spying on them" Cato shoves me into the river.

“Your wrong" He says. He pushes me underwater. I gasp for breath. Water fills my nose and lungs. Black covers my eyes...

A grassy field outside district two is in front of me. I walk down the torn up stone path and come upon a forest. After a few minutes I find another grassy field. Cato sits on the ground. A voice in my mind says KILL HIM! But, I can't. You have to. He will kill you. He is nasty. I could not believe myself. Then I shake and fall down. I keep shaking. Glimmer is doing it. Then I snap awake.

Katniss is shaking me. I try to move my body. I am stiff.

“Sorry Clove." She says. “We accidentally dunked you underwater."

“Wha?" I say.

“We dunked you underwater. Sorry." Finch said.

“Well, um thanks." I say. “So who did it?"

“If you mean knock you out the boy from 9. Then we killed him and the girl." Rue said.

“Now we only have 11 people left." I nod. We are already over halfway done.

“Let's get moving." Finch says. “That boy may have been followed. Maybe by careers or other people." Katniss nods and we set off. Thorns pockets up from the bushes

“Oww!" I say as a large thorn locks me.

“Maybe we should stop." Finch said.

“Nope. I'm okay." I say. I try to ignore the pain in my side but, it really hurts. Soon, we stop and rest. I lay down and fall asleep.
