Stop Following Me - Lysandre x Reader

"See you, (Y/N). I'll be back tomorrow..." Lysandre said, getting his things, and heading for the door. You noticed, at the same time each day, Lysandre would leave, and be back at the HQ the same time the next morning.

You sighed. What was he doing? "See you, Lysandre." You said, randomly sorting through papers, trying to look busy. Soon after, he left. It was around 4:00 in the afternoon, and he would be at the HQ at 8:00 in the morning, as usual.

It all started after you joined. You and Lysandre were friends at the time, but after you joined Team Flare, he just starting leaving early, as he does now.

You decided to follow him, see what he was up to. After he left, you went to the restrooms, and changed into regular clothes. You put your uniform in a case, and waited a few minutes after he left, and then you went outside.

He wasn't hard to spot, since he had that bright orange hair. You chuckled to yourself, and tailed him. He went into Lumiose City, sitting outside a café, on a regular outdoors table. You figured that was normal. You went inside, and sat at the bar, close to the window. They offer free newspapers to all patrons at the café, so you obliged, thinking it would hide your eyes.

A few minutes later, surprisingly, Serena came along. Your eyes darted to her, why was she here? Its been 8 years since she 'defeated' Team Flare, yet does she know they're back together? You shrugged that question off, but you still watched them.

Its been a good 30 minutes since she arrived, and you almost memorized the entire newspaper. You almost got up and left, before Serena gave Lysandre a small, neatly wrapped box, before shaking hands and leaving. You mistakingly turned completly around, making Lysandre notice you. You silently cursed to yourself, quickly turning around and scrambling to get your things.

Lysandre got up, and walked into the café, sitting beside you, making you freeze. "(Y/N). What are you doing here? You're supposed to be running the H-" "Why are you out so early? Why do you leave at an exact time and return at an exact time?" You asked, shooting daggers at Lysandre. Lysandre chuckled, and pulled the previously mentioned box. "This is why." He said, sliding the box over to you. He looked away, signalling 'open the box'. You opened said box.

Inside was a necklace, a beautiful one, with a Key Stone embedded in the centerpiece. "Lysandre... This is beautiful. Where'd you get this?" You asked him, gently placing the necklace back in the box. "Korrina and Serena have both been working on it. The reason I've been leaving so early is to check on it. So..." Lysandre said, putting the necklace on you. "There's your answer. Happy?" He said, sighing. You smiled, pecking him on the lips. "Yes, I am." You said, leaving the café, and a red Lysandre, behind.
