The beach is loud but for the mutants-- now all regrouped in the sandy shed-- it's almost silent. They sit in a shocked circle with Felix's flute in the middle of them. Jax clutches his phone tightly in one hand, the messages from his mom having been ignored in light of the kidnapping.
Oliver is still pale and breathing shallowly, but even he subconsciously seems to have picked up on the tension. His chemical compounds mantra can to an end and his sleep is sound. At least for now.
The MDO seems to have collected the missing files on the group except for Jax and Ash. The whole country will know their faces before midnight tonight. Time is running out. Soon anyone on the street will be an enemy to the group, whether they stalk forward in their attempts to save Andrea or they choose to dissolve the team under the pressure.
New clothes sit in plastic bags in the corner of the shack, half paid for and all Disney themed. Theres no telling how long it will fool the MDOs.
Fortune, it seems is not on their side.
