Ryan's pov I felt empty. 4 weeks has gone by and she hasn't woken up. I've been staying at the hospital everyday, holding her hand and praying to god that a miracle happens. I was an idiot, it was all my fault. If I had been strong and went against my mom I wouldn't be here, Sky wouldn't be here. Laura keeps calling me saying she wants us to get back together, which of course I hanged up when she's talking. I don't want to marry Laura. I want to marry Sky, only her. The nurse walks in to do a check up and writes notes on her clipboard
"The Doctor will be here shortly"
"Thanks"
She smiles and walks out with some papers. Few minutes later the doctor comes in
"Hello Mr Parker how are you feeling"
"Words can't describe my pain doctor. When will Sky wake up? Please tell me you have good news"
"Well I have good news and bad news"
"Let me hear the good news first"
"Well Sky is doing good and she may wake up soon then we thought"
"And the bad news?"
"Ah yes, well your mom is here and she's coming up here"
"Thanks for telling me"
"No problem. I must go check other patients"
He walks out the room and I let my anger out. Why was she doing here? After what happened how can she just show up like nothing happened? I clench my fist and walk around trying to calm myself down. But I just can't.

The door opens and my mom looks around the room until her eyes are on me. She slowly makes her way towards me and places her purse on the couch
"Why are you here? With that girl!? Why aren't you with Laura!?"
"She's not just a girl. She's my girl"
"Oh please stop this nonsense Ryan"
"No Mom! I'm tired of you controlling me! But no more, I won't listen to you anymore. From now on I will make my own decision and you will respect them, and for my first decision I will still be with Sky."
She looked angry wait no cross that out, she looked furious. She knew I wasn't letting her get to me. We both looked at each other as if we were challenging who will look away first.
"Ryan you know how pow-"
"What? Powerful? Nice try but that doesn't scare me anymore, I'm powerful too. I can destroy you in the snap of my fingers"
She looks up as if she was surprised in hearing me say that.
