Sky's pov I couldn't believe it...the girl who once thought she will never find love....has found it.. Ryan proposing to me completely blew me away, I was happy. For weeks I will occasionally look down at my hand and see Ryan's ring on it, it was beautiful. After the proposal we started hiring people for the wedding and soon the news will be out to the public. Today I was attending a famous charity party with Ryan as his date. Powerful people will be there so I wanted to look presentable. I went shopping and bought a beautiful elegant dress. The party doesn't start until 8pm so for now I wanted to get my nails done. So I headed down to a nail salon and soon had acrylic nails on me. I was quite nervous since it's the first time Ryan's friends will meet me as his fiancé. Once I get home Cody comes running to me, I pick him up and bring him to the bathroom where I bathe him. Cody is still a pup but already is heavy enough that my back hurts when I picked him up. After bathing him I leave him in his bed and soon I myself hop in the shower. After I rush to the bedroom and find everything I'm going to wear, laying nicely on the bed. I slip on a green dress and pull my hair up, into a low bun.

I look at myself in the mirror and take deep breaths. I was nervous, it was my first time going to one of these important parties and knowing Ryan being there made my stomach twist even more. He still gave me the butterflies in my stomach, he completely made me felt as we were on our first date. I text Ryan:
Me: Hey I'm ready
Ryan: Me too, come downstairs already, can't wait to see you :)
The last part made my knees weak, I quickly check my face and walk downstairs to where my beloved fiancé was waiting for me. I see him there, typing away at his phone. He then looks up and looks completely shocked, I walk up to him and still not a word comes out. I look down and wait for him to say something, he doesn't.
"Ryan please say something, your silence is killing me. Is the dress not good? Should I change?, matter of fact ya let me change. I'll be back"
I turned around and was about to walk back to the room when I feel him grab my arm and pulls me into a passionate kiss. His hands gently holds my face.

We pull away as Ryan slowly smiles
"Sky the reason I was quite because you were absolutely breathtaking. You looked so beautiful that I became speechless"
I feel my cheeks turn red and soon realized how handsome Ryan looked. That black suit made him looked powerful.

"Shall we go now?"
"Yes, come on"
He intertwines our hands and guides me to his car, he opens the door for me and soon we're on the road.

There was lights everywhere and I was absolutely dazzle by it. I grab Ryan's hand and we make our way inside when suddenly my stomach falls to the ground as I see that person walk inside. I start to panic.
"Ryan we have to go!!"
"Sky what happened?"
"Please Ryan we have to go..please"
Soon all the memories come back and I feel like the world is crushing me, my eyes felt watery and Ryan sees it and grabs my face, gently forcing me to look at him.
"Baby what's wrong? We can't leave"
"I saw....I saw.."
"Sky who did you see? Who!?"
"Your Mom!!"
At that moment Ryan's face turns pale and has a shocked look on his face.
