Prologue

~ For the most part the dialogue will be in spanish, so I apologize for that, but I still hope that you like it.~

~3 years ago~

"¡Mamá!" I yelled as I carried my heavy box down to the car.

"¡Qué Ana!"

"¡Dónde pongo mi caja!"

"¡En la espalda, novio!"

"Gracias mamá"

"De nada Ana."

I sighed as I shoved my box into the back of our car. Moving isn't easy, and I don't like it so far. I have to leave everything behind, including my friends, all because my mother got a new job in America. But ever since our dad died, she's been in a depressing state. So I suppose I'm happy for her, as long as she's happy, then I'm happy. As I walked into our house I am quickly knocked onto my butt.

"Miguel!"

"Grito, lo siento Ana."

"Lo que sea, date prisa y  termina de empacar, mamá está esperando en el auto."

"Bueno."

And he was gone, when our father died, Miguel had a hard time coping with it, since he was only 7 when our papa had passed. For me, I just became more reserved, I shut alot of people out, my mom thinks that in America we'll have a better life, more chances then we have here in our home town, Michoacan. But instead of arguing I went along with it, just so I could see a smile on my mother's face, I pick up my last box as I walk over to our car. My brother was already seated and my mom was just waiting for me, I turn back to look at my home one more time.

"Adiós Michoacan."

I smile to myself as I climbed into the car.

"Estàs bien chica."

"Sí mamá."

She smiled as she placed her hand on my leg.

"Sé que esto es difícil para ti cariño, pero tendremos un nuevo comienzo, te encantará."

I smiled as I nodded my head.

"Sé mamá."

"¡Bueno, América aquí viene la familia Sanchez!"

I smiled to myself as she started the car, and we were off to America, Miguel and I feel asleep, when we made it to America, our mother was proud to announce that we were now proud citizens in America. We then drove towards California, which is where our new home town is.

"¿Angels Grove?"

"Sé que no es una gran ciudad, pero es un comienzo."

Miguel and I nodded our heads as we pulled up to a decent sized house. It had bright green grass in the front, with a big tree, the house was tan, with white door, making it stand out. The neighborhood was okay, not alot of kids were out. And the street was someone quiet.

"Bien chicos, vamos a desempacar y descansar un paco, ustedes dos tienen clase de inglés mañana."

"Sì mamá." We replied as we hopped out of the car and started to unpack everything. I sighed as I brought all of my boxs into my new room, while helping Miguel with his of course. After that I helped my mom with dinner, all we made were tacos, but we were pretty stuffed. After our late dinner I walked to my room, were I face planted onto my bed. I sighed once more. This place was nothing like home. I don't like it, not one bit.

Knock knock

"¡Ven!"

My mom poked her head through the door, I groaned as she walked over, she then sat next to me on my bed.

"Ana,  sé que los tiempos han sido difíciles, especialmente desde que papá falleció el mes pasado, pero necesito que pongas una sonrisa en tu cara, no solo para mí o para ti, sind para Miguel."

I stared at her as she sighed and countined.

"Puedes enojarte todo lo que querias, pero quiero que Miguel vea que todo está bien. Quiero lo mejor para ustedes dos. Solo sé que no estás solo en esto...así que por favor no rechaces a tu familia Ana."

And then she left, I stayed up for hours thinking about what she said. And for the most part she was right, I had to be happy so Miguel would be happy, so he could see that everything was alright. And I would do that, I would put a smile on my face for Miguel and for my mom. I would only do it for them. But I will still countinue to push people away. I will make no attempts in making friends. I'll just.....become a delinquent.

~ so here is the prologue, I know it really sucks, and I'm sorry, but the first chapter will be better, but I hope that I caught your interest, and again sorry for the spanish dialogue. AnimeGeek201 out!☆~
