It's been about two weeks since Diara disappearing and the group is in a huge depression.

I walk up to the table, waving at everyone.

In response, I get mumbles of hellos and hi's.

Except for Xandra, Ciara and Derek who wave back.

"Guys, if we want to find Diara, we can't just mope around." I speak up, looking around the table.

"She's not wrong.." Alici sadly says.

We all perk up and get permission to exit school to try to find Diara. Here we go.

Diara Martinez

Every single day of me being here consists of trying to figure out how to get out of here until Toddy comes back, eating, getting beat, and him trying to get into my pants but failing.

"Babygirl, i'm bored." he states laying next to me in the bed, trying to get close. "might as well fuck, since you'll be here forever."

"Fuck you, Toddy." I spit and turn to him. "I will never ever take your tic-tac dick ever again."

He chuckles, "you will."

"What about my education?" I ask, standing. "I can't stay in this room forever."

"We're moving soon. Don't worry." he smiles.

"Fuck no." I say. "I am not leaving."

"I don't care."

I huff, "fuck you."

I run out of the bedroom.

He wasn't expecting that.

i've been working out my legs, just so I can tun faster than him.

I run down the stairs, running out the front door.

This idiot brought me to the same house he lived in before he moved away, so I know the place pretty well.

"Get back here!" He shouts, clearly angry,
running after me.

I flip him off.

"Suck my dick, you fucking creep!" I continue running in the direction of Xandra's place.

As we head to Xandras place to take a break, we see someone familiar running down the street, flipping off the person chasing her.

"It's Diara!" I scream. "Nate stop!"

He instantly stops and I run out.

"Alexa!" Diara screams, running into my arms.

We cry into each other's arms.

I look up and see Toddy standing behind her, scared.

I hear car door open and slam shut.

Derek runs up and holds her tight and I step back.

"It was you!" I shout, glaring at Toddy.

He turns and starts running.

"Call the police." I shout and head after him.

I tackle him to the concrete.

"Ow shit." I hear Toddy screech.

"You deserve it fucker." I stand him up and put him in a headlock, dragging him back to the group.

"I-i'm sorry." Toddy starts, "Let me go. I can't go back."

i let him go, and punch him in face.

"That's what you get for kidnapping my bestfriend." I continue, "did he touch you?" I ask Diara.

She shakes her head representing a 'no.'

I shrug. "still doing it."

With those words, I kick his dick.

He groans and falls to the floor.

Gilinsky and Johnson come up and stand him up holding him.

I hear sirens. They're here.

I see someone familiar step out of the car but i can't place a finger on it.

"Hey papa." Ciara says, hugging the familiar person.

oh. now I remember!

Her dad kisses her cheek and Sammy straightens up when Mr. Orales approaches him.

I laugh.

"You taking care of my daughter?" he asks, a stern look on his face, as other cops grab Toddy from G & J.

"yes sir." Sammy responds, not even tripping over his words.

"Alright." were his last words as he walked away to his squad car.

"That's all?" Xandra asks.

"Yup." Ciara says.

"Damn." we all say.

we are all at Xandras discussing what happened.

"thank god it wasn't worse." Sylvia states.

We all nod in agreement and watch the movie.

Diara told us all about her being beat everyday and how she trained to leave.

Derek seemed so hurt and angry at himself.

He blamed himself but Diara took him out of the room, spoke with him and they both came back into the room happy as ever.

Who knows what would've happened if we weren't let out of school and if Diara didn't run at that time?

Guess we'll never know.
